Have had my hair done by Bianca multiple times over the last 6 months and she is excellent. I initially came and had a full head of highlights and I have been coming to the salon regularly since then to have them refreshed. I have thick, black Asian hair and she has managed to lighten my hair and give me a beautiful multi tonal light brown/blonde hair. My hair has also never been healthier despite being bleached and she also gives me the best haircuts (long layers) and blow dries. I had a keratin treatment with her in January which is a smoothing treatment (not straightening) and the results have been fantastic. Overall I definitely recommend Bianca if you want beautiful hair.
Hey, I just wanted to give a shoutout to Caitlin at BB Hair Collective in Glasgow. I took my 12-year-old daughter there for the curly kids’ intro appointment, and it was amazing! Caitlin did an incredible job with her hair, and she also took the time to explain everything she was doing and how to take care of her curls. The staff were super friendly and welcoming, and my daughter is already excited to go back. If you have a kid with curly hair, I highly recommend this place. They’re awesome!
This was my first time visiting the salon and I really enjoyed the experience. Katie conducted my wash, cut, and blow dry and she was incredible. I’m so happy with the service and it was lovely chatting away to Katie who did such a great job!
Harriet was lovely, walked me through the whole process a very thorough consultation to begin with and still guided me through step by step when she was actually cutting my hair. Felt very comfortable and easy to chat to so made the time go by so fast. Understood what I wanted and having not got a usual “go to” hairdresser in Birmingham yet I may be revisiting Harriet for my next hair cut as the experience with her was great and loved my hair cut, got so many compliments already on the length and layers, would be more than happy to revisit Urban Roots and hopefully Harriet will have me back ahaha! Shawn messed up my hair horribly. Over-toned it, took 6 hours and charged me *by the hour. Worst hair experience of my life and he had the nerve to rip me off in the process. $600 for the ugliest color on the planet, and nowhere near what I asked for. (and showed pics.) Also, yanked on my hair and pulled a ton out. Now I have to go to an actual professional to fix this mess and pay even more money. Here’s hoping the rest of my hair doesn’t break off.
Love my new hair! The whole salon is a gem. Located in a beautiful neighborhood and you feel very welcome. Prices are absolutely reasonable. Kayla’s work was perfect. She gave me great consultation and always telling me what she’s doing right now. I have very sensitive scalp and brushing through the wet hair did not hurt a bit! She just knows what she’s doing and has a great eye for faces etc. The cut came out exactly how I wished for. Thank you again! I’m already excited for my next visit.

It was an absolute game changer! Ohseas is an absolute artist and it shows. It’s been a hot minute since I’ve been so in love with how I look and it’s all thanks to Ohseas. My hair got a complete make over and not only does my hair look healthier and brighter but my whole self esteem is just through the roof! Moving forward I wouldn’t trust anyone else.
Everything was so great! Came in for a pedicure and Adriana did an amazing job- was fast but didn’t rush, which is my preference. They offer tea/ water / coffee. Would come again/ recommend!

I got an amazing hair cut that falls perfectly around my face and a partial highlight. My hair is the prettiest, lightest blonde ever. He took his time and truly wanted to make sure I was happy. We had the best experience ever today! My daughter needed a trim to even out her hair so we decided to check out The Root. Recommended by a friend. This was the best experience ever. FIRST CURLY CUT IVE EVER HAD!! i’ve struggled finding the right stylist to cut my hair. my hair turned curly about 5 years ago and only recently have i began to embrace my curls. looking for the right stylist is hard, but DANI took such good care of me!! i made an appointment with her for a curly cut and later she also toned my highlighted hair. dani took the time to get to know my hair — which comforted me knowing i went to the right person and place. every step, she informed me of everything she was going to do, and she also gave me helpful tips that way i can take care and style my own hair at home! she is very sweet and very knowledgeable. i’m happy to trust her with my hair. this was my first time someone else used the diffuser on my hair. i’ve seen plenty videos about how to do it, but doing it myself wasn’t very easy. however, dani provided such good information on how to achieve the best curls and make them last longer. this haircut was honestly the best decision i’ve made. i feel utmost happy with my experience here at snapdragon and with dani, i truly feel like the universe guided me here. though it’s a bit far from me, i will definitively come back again :) ALSO !!! funny side note but dani is amazing at washing my hair LOL! i feel like i was at a spa the way she washed my hair. other places i’ve been to, they just .. feel like normal hands washing my hair. but dani really went in and massaged my head and omg it was so relaxing. love her so much !!! in the first picture you can see how my hair looked for awhile (i cut 5-6 inches off right before i saw dani). in the new pictures, you can see how beautifully she cut, toned, and styled my hair!! (btw she gave me a wolfcut ! the layers were perfect to give me the volume i wanted) . i was absolutely astonished when i saw the final product. i’ve never seen my hair look like this before!!! dani brought out the potential my curls had and i am so very happy with the results. amazing job :)
I went in with a picture and requested for the same hair cut. It came out completely different. I was really nervous during the whole entire time because I was noticing that the person was cutting shorter and shorter and then ended up with an Asian aunt like look instead of an androgynous look. I expressed my dislike and the owner kept on telling me my hair is longer than what appears in the picture. He just kept on telling me to just part it side ways and style it when I clearly told him I don’t want to have to style my hair all the time. The person who cut my hair was literally sitting at the couch staring at me as the owner was brainwashing me and I felt extremely uncomfortable. In the end, I didn’t feel like I could get my hair rescued and I just left. I don’t recommend this place you want to do huge transformation from long hair to short hair. Also, the hair dresser and the owner don’t really listen to the customer’s concerns.
This was my first time at Swerve and was warmly welcomed by all the staff. My stylist, Grace, really understands how to cut curly hair, the fragility of it (especially when going blonde), and most importantly, how to style it! I cannot tell you how often I've left a salon only to go straight home and style my own hair (ughh...so frustrating). An added bonus with Grace, she explains what she is doing when blow drying and styling so you can make the best attempt to re-create the look at home. She is super sweet, quite funny and you can tell she really enjoys what she does. After 52 years, I'm glad I finally found someone who "gets" my hair! Thanks to Grace and Swerve!
This is my favorite hair salon I have ever been to. Karla has cut and colored my hair multiple times and she is absolutely incredible. She does an amazing job every time and I leave the salon feeling like a new person. She is truly so talented, friendly, and listens to what you ask for. I want to start off by saying I rarely visit a salon multiple times. I have difficult hair and I haven't been able to find a place that could color match and cut my hair how I wanted. That's until I found Michael and Jacob at Charles Ifergan. Michael has matched my hair color perfectly! The only way I can tell my hair has grown out is that my grey hair starts to show. The rest of the color blends in so perfectly I can't tell where the color stops and my natural hair starts! Jacob took the time to listen to me and my needs for my overly thick hair. He spent the time making sure to put the volume of my hair in all the right places so I didn't look like a triangle. I am no longer nervous about getting my hair done because I feel comfortable and confident at this salon
Katty is a true master at cutting curly hair. She cuts with shears rather than a razor. I came in last month with a three month old mullet I didn’t asked for but was given anyway, from a totally different salon. Katty spent a very long time consulting with me that day, game-planning my hair’s resurrection. I came back a month later (today) for my first cut. I am really impressed, but not surprised. If you look at Katty’s instagram it’s obvious she’s the real deal. The first pic is what it looked like right after I left David Rios. The second pic is the mess I had right before she fixed it. The third and fourth pics are after I came home and played with it a little. I don’t think I’ve ever been this happy right after a haircut. She’s a gift! Update five days later: this haircut is nothing short of a miracle. My hair was in such an awkward grown out phase of the worst cut I ever had in my life, and then Katty somehow made it look chic, no matter what. Chic when I wake up, chic when I put a little effort into styling it, chic at the end of the day. This woman is SERIOUSLY skilled. She’s the sixth hair dresser I’ve seen since moving to DC and the only one who actually deserves what she charges. And she deserves every penny.

Love this salon. It’s so upbeat and has a great vibe. My haircut with Katie was perfect, exactly the trendy style that I wanted. When I walked in I was greeted promptly and offered a drink from their delicious cocktail menu! My Bloody Mary was great! This was my first time at the salon and I look forward to going back. I saw Katie who was a drop in stylist this week, but all the stylists seemed professional and fun. Can’t wait to return.

Mikey is the best! He listens to you, he gives you best advice, and then he does his magic (wonderful!) plus he gives you advice on how to maintain it. I have been hesitant to go to hairdressers all my life because of bad experiences and I am delighted I found him! I have been coming regularly for almost a year now and my hair is healthier than ever and looks awesome. Thanks Mikey! As a bonus all staff is welcoming, and the space is nice and clean, perfect to treat yourself. All that makes it a great experience overall.
Had a children's cut my partner said my son moved, so it went up higher, but the whole hair cut is terrible there's no blending at all, he has block steps all around his head, it's just awful he looks like William the conquerer. I could cry we only booked here due to going away to see family and couldnt get in his normal place. We will be returning to his normal hair dresses next time. Not suitable for kids.
I have been coming to Salon Ethos for about 3 years and I can honestly say it was the best decision I’ve ever made. I randomly came in one day to blow dry my hair with William Laurel (based on reviews) and he turned out to be amazing. Every great review he has on here is real. The feedback that is provided is truly justified when you meet him in person. He knows how to color, style, cut etc. you name it, he can do it. I highly recommend him!

Grace did my hair up for a wedding last Friday and she did the most amazing job!! She was super efficient which was much appreciated (as I was tight for time on the day.. absolutely no fault of hers!) It looked beautiful and I got so many compliments on it. More importantly it stayed put after many drinks and a night of dancing so I think sign of an impressive hair up! Best hair salon period. Not just the bay area, not just California, the best objectively. I have been coming to patrick evan salon for 5+ years, and the quality of service is unmatched. Particularly for the thermal reconditioning treatment I get, it is highly specialized treatment and Patrick is a master of his craft. I live in another state and I continue to return to SF for him to do my hair. Also equally important, the standard of care is so high. I wasn't completely satisfied with my results and Patrick personally corrected it and was so kind and patient with me to ensure my hair was completely perfect. There are few things I fly back to California for, but getting my hair done at Patrick Evan Salon is one. It was my first visit today and Leon was absolutely great! It was difficult to find a good salon to do my hair as it is a natural curl. The staff at vox hairdressing is very friendly and attends to customers. Leon even suggested what would work on making the hair smoother and for a new haircut! Sara was AMAZING!! I made a last minute appointment to have a blowout and she was able to fit me into her schedule. I was a little nervous because I had never been to her before and my hair is very long and thick and not all stylists are able to get it fully dry and straight. She took her time and did an excellent job and I can honestly say this is one of the best blowouts I have ever had. She was also an absolutely delightful person and clearly has so much pride in working at Jameson Shaw. The salon itself has recently been updated and looks and feels great. If I'm ever back in the area, I will definitely use her again for anything I need done! I highly recommend Sara at Jameson Shaw.

From the moment I walked in, I was beyond amazed at this salon. The attention to detail from a customer perspective was overwhelming. The owners Carlos and Tim have put much thought into creating the perfect experience for their customers/guests. From the gentleman at the front counter, offering me a variety of coffees and bringing it to me with a beautiful design on top, to the young man who took me on a tour of the salon, so that I would know where everything was and what they offer, to the assistance who prepped my hair and helped out Carlos, I was just blown away. I recently went to refresh my look and trim my split ends, aiming for a long layered cut. Jenny, my stylist, was fantastic. She perfectly understood what I wanted and even exceeded my expectations with the cut and blow-dry. Jenny also recommended a bundle promo on Mood hair products, which was a great deal. These made-in-Italy products will be excellent for my at-home hair care, saving me money too. I'm definitely booking Jenny again for my next appointment!
Had my colour correcting appointment with Kayleigh today and couldn’t say one bad thing. Had my patch test and consultation the week before and she had a look at my hair and told me what she would advise doing for the benefit of my hair. Very informative and explained the process to me. Then had my appointment today and she is absolutely lovely and professional. Chatted me through every step of the process and was very detail oriented. Took exactly what I was wanting on board and produced great results. A really good hairdresser and I will definitely be going back. All the staff are lovely and a clean space. I love Atelier so much! The vibe when I enter the salon makes me feel I am a special person in the world. They use their own special hair products made by themselves and hair looks shiny and soft after shampooing. They usually give you scarf massage during shampooing, it feels heavenly. All my neck and shoulder's muscles are relaxed after their massage. I usually do hair cuts and hair colors together with Tiffany. Tiffany is a professional artist who turns my hair so stylish and vibrant very quickly. When Tiffany is not available, I sometimes have hair cuts with other hairdressers, they are all amazing! Highly recommend this place in K-Town for updating your hair styles.
Got a cut from Nelson and absolutely loved it! I’ve been looking for a new hair stylist for 2 years as my old stylist left the industry. I’m really picky with how my layers look and I’m extremely happy with how everything turned out. Jamie is amazing! She's super responsive and always makes time for me. She's very nice and always provides snacks and makes sure that your time at the salon is very comfortable. Today I had the best experience ever! From beginning to end the staff was extremely friendly and very efficient! Also love they have all sorts of coffee available, thank you for the treat! I highly suggest this place. I am always very concerned about cutting my hair, as you can see from the first picture, my hair are extremely thin and it’s very difficult to cut. Some hairdresser seeing my hair in the past mentioned that there was not much to work with… Today, I needed someone with experience, but also someone positive that was able to give life back to my hair. Luckily today I was in Simone’ hands! He was extremely talented, plenty of experience and passion. He really listened to me, he was positive and he loved the challenge. He shared so many tips with me on how to style my hair on a daily basis. I felt so good and I love my hair again. This was the best haircut ever. Really loved my experience here. I'm not sure who greeted me when I walked in, but they were extremely friendly and welcoming. I cannot say enough good things about Val. I had a shoulder length bob I was extremely ready to get rid of, and communicated with Val about what I was looking for. She was super knowledgeable and suggested starting points based on the photos I showed her, and explained her process very clearly. The final result was exactly what I was looking for (a more masculine cut with cleaner/sharper edges than a regular pixie cut). I'm really happy with how it came out and was able to scoop up this really cool styling product that she suggested. Highly highly recommend getting your hair cut and styled by Val, especially if it's on the shorter side!

It was my first haircut in 9 months so I was a tad nervous but Shampoo on Ave B is a finely tuned MACHINE. Erik is the MAN! I came in here looking like a sheepdog and left feeling like a 1996 Javier Bardem..Or a 2001 Johnny Depp in Blow. I felt bad for Erik initially as I had no idea how to describe what I wanted. That has to be soooo annoying ahahahaha, but he absolutely NAILED it. I’m starting to think he has telepathic abilities. I also need to shoutout my girl Blanca who washed my hair. She was the sweetest most engaging lady and we was just sittin there talmbout life… Erik and Blanca are like Batman and Robin!

Charles did an amazing job to my hair. I was told that the color I initially wanted could not hold because I had dyed my hair too many times in the past. However, Charles really took the time and efforts to make sure that the color came out close to what I desired. The whole process took about 7 hours, but everything paid off in the end when I saw the result. My coworkers and friends like the color and I’m thrilled with it.
