Voodou used to be so good from my first visit in October 2018 when I once dyed my hair purple with one of the hairdressers. The second time was quite recently, in fact August 2023 for a root bleach retouch with Maeve (who I was randomly allocated with), and it was an absolute FLOP. I tried to keep my composure throughout but it was very disappointing experience this time round. I knew there was bound to be some breakage but not to this extent as shown in the photos where the crown and hairline area is completely broken off. She was extremely aggressive with when it came to shampooing and brushing out the hair at the same time which is an absolute no-no. It's an absolute hate crime with what she was doing to my hair, like I don't know what incentive there was but it's definitely not a good one. It is so hard to live and go out with this current state of my hair it's going to take months in fact YEARS to return back to my original length of 14 inches. What a waste of £162, even the 50% new client discount they didn’t do for me. Don't think I will be coming back to Voodou again. Update: 4 months since coming here for a root touch up, it has resulted in a lot of job opportunities lost in my field. Get ready for a lawsuit in a year or two’s time!

Absolutely the worst experience I have ever had at any hairdressers so far . I had booked a consultation, they agreed on getting hair bleached including roots , I paid deposit and when I came for my booking they refused to do it. Getting me a higher price than what they said on consultation, and a different package that was initially agreed on. From blonde hair they turned my hair grey , yellow and orange in the same time . Patchy , with a huge thick line between the root and the ends . I booked it as before birthday glow up and my hair it’s completely messed up, patchy and yellow . They tried to fix it with toning it up again , same thing, nothing changed, just more damaged to my hair . I left crying and depressed. I never had such a bad experience ever in my life . They offered another bleached in the next day , but after seeing the reviews of people getting their hair fixed over and over again , I don’t trust going in there back again . Haircut so bad as well , I told her shoulder cut and I end up ear cut , absolutely a joke of places. Please girls don’t event think about it ! Hairdresser around the corner of my house did 10 times better job on quarter of the price . I wanted to treat myself for my bday .. and I treated myself with ruined hair , completely disappointed and absolutely depressed after the visit here , I regret it so much .
