Went for the first time as I needed a cut but as a curly head trying to grow my hair I am not a fan of 'regular' hairdressers as they insist on cutting my hair wet! I know thats not ALL hairdressers but hard to find ones that have experience with curly hair and needless to say the cut usually ends up around my ears...so low & behold I am grateful to have found this place. Very cool vibe (sat on the windowsill as I arrived early & it was v.busy) & my hairdresser Katelyn listened to what I wanted, appreciated & didn't judge when I told her due to my previous experiences I preferred to go to the dentist rather than a hairdresser! She did a dry cut with layers that enhanced the shape & some face framing tendrils so am more than happy with this salon. Whilst waiting, I got to get a sense of the place & seeing how Scott dealt with his customers as if they were returning friends made me appreciate the friendly atmosphere & lack of pretentiousness that one may see in other salons. This is in addition to the professionalism & experience of his staff so I'm glad that I've found this place & hopefully will be a client for years to come.

The ladies at the salon were very lovely and it had an overall warm atmosphere. Very comfortable but my 1 star is because the cut doesn’t look any different and the styling was horrible. They could see it was horrid as they had applied way too much product. I couldn’t say much as was close to crying, so I paid and left. Not worth the money in my personal experience as my hair looked better when I came in than when I left. The girl who styled my hair explained each step very clearly and said only a little product would be applied but continued adding more. I was told before I left that I should apply less product next time. This was my first ever curly cut and for £130 I am devastated. I had read reviews and all were positive but I guess every experience is individual. They should have rewashed and styled it. I just wanted to go home as have never felt so ugly. Instead of going for a coffee as planned, I took an uber home with my jacket hood up all the way. Will not be back sadly.
