Come here with my 10yo son and Chris is absolutely brilliant with him. He feels like a proper wee style icon and gets what he asks for - but with a proper understanding of his thick unruly hair. Couldn’t ask for more. Great laugh with everyone in the shop too.
Went in for the first time today and spoke to the owner to try and sort out a hair style I liked. It is a really nice place and got one of the best hair cuts. Definitely going back
Brilliant as always! I've been coming to W2 since we moved to the area a few years back and wouldn't go anywhere else. Mabs always does a great job and the atmosphere is always a chilled out and friendly vibe.
Fantastic barber with very high standards and a clear ethos of working with you to get the style you want. First time going to NOTJUST getting a cut with Tom. Showed him a website with the style I wanted to change to. Unlike other barbers, he didn't just nod and then cut something completely different. He critiqued the cut and the style, discussed various barbering techniques he felt would improve the look, and then listened to my thoughts on his suggestions. Led me to get an even better hairstyle that the picture I first showed him. Very impressive! Requested style: Short on the back and sides with a highly textured top that gives a lot of movement and layers.
I’ve never been a fan of finding a new barber, pick the wrong one and you end up walking round with a dodgy trim for the best part of a month. But I’m glad I found the barber house, Mitchel knows what he’s doing and does a fantastic job, on top of making you feel extremely welcomed as soon as you step in the door. I would highly recommend!
First and last time here. Had a haircut from Harry. - I had to ask him to wash my hair. I was then reluctantly marched over to the sink. Asked for water to warmed 3 times as it was cold. Before there was even a lather, hair was rinsed I was up and marched back to chair. There was water still dripping down my face. He gave me a paper towel to wipe my face. LOL. I’m laughing now because thinking back, it was actually like a comedy skit. - This guy was the grumpiest person I’ve ever met. He said about 10 words the whole time I was there. No consultation or advice despite me asking. This dude just wanted to go home and made no secret about it. His face was permanently stuck at moody. - I’d liken the haircut to one I’ve had from a £10 local inner city barber. Not worth £29 I paid but as it was Xmas even, I channeled my inner Xmas spirit and didn’t bother complaining. As I’m writing this review on Xmas day I’m trying to add something positive…and I can honestly say, the Iron Bru was really nice. So in summary, Harry needs to actually speak to his clients and offer advice especially if they ask. Maybe smile? Learn some more barbering skills. If you can’t be bothered to work on a particular day, just don’t come in until you can actually be bothered to. Don’t stop stocking Iron Bru in your fridge.
Moved up to uni a few months ago and needed to find myself a new barbers, came across this gem on Gorgie Road. Went in and was offered free beer with a good laugh. Absolute class trim from Davey as he fixed my hair up professionally and swiftly. Safe to say it’s worth the price and I’ll definitely be going back for the foreseeable future.
I couldn’t say it is the best barbershop in Manchester, because I haven’t been to all the shops in here. However, I don’t think I would go to any other place for my haircut as well. My third time visiting here since September. Chad and Callum are both amazing barbers and lovely people. Their skills are without a doubt. Their service is definitely top notch. Coffee is always offered. A hair wash is included. Whether you want to have a fun chat with them or just want to enjoy the experience without talking, they’ll make you comfortable.
I have been visiting Fade masters for a few years now, since around 2018. Recently I have been getting my Hair cut by Ahmad who is great, really professional and easy to communicate with. I hadn’t visited in 6 months due to going travelling and upon return it was so easy to get back to having my haircut exactly how I like it. First haircut I've had in a long time where people have not been able to believe how much of an improvement it was! Really just incredible quality for the price. Staff were very friendly and the atmosphere was very relaxed. I think it was Kieran that cut my hair, and he was very careful to keep me in the loop with decisions he was making throughout - it was quite a drastic change, so that was very much appreciated. Will most certainly be coming back here.
This barber shop is well worth a try, the owner and staff are very talkative, the barber atmosphere is good, and free tea and coffee are also provided. Although the price is a little high(Because I didn't see the exact price of a haircut at the front of the store), I am very satisfied with the service of the staff and the store manager, so I will still give good reviews. If I hadn't rushed to catch the train today, I might have had a longer time to enjoy my haircut.

I have been coming to Venus for over 12 years! They are a really friendly attentive crew in the shop. They are all great barbers, and know how to sort out my beard and crew cut or fade. My nephew loves it too, having started coming when he was about 7. Recommend any of the barbers but Ali is my go to if he’s free! A great barbers in the middle of Clapham High Street, and probably the best in London!

Decent cut but it depends on the barber. Also, sometimes they don't seem to bothered but deep down they are good guys. Some of the fades could be a bit more polished. Average price £17. Offers children and senior cuts also. Overall 8/10
