One star is one too many: Following Brexit and the uncertainties around COVID-19, we elected to support a family owned and managed Scottish company. One with a culture of care āenabling delivering on the promise to guide the customer through a skilfully managed journeyā. However, from the customer perspective, this project was nothing short of a complete disaster from the start. It was clear from the outset that many basic measurements were inaccurate. Our clear instructions were sometimes ignored. Project management was woeful and the duty of care to the clients was way below an acceptable standard. The local Ashley Ann complaints procedure attempted to trivialise serious problems and silence the customer. Higher authorities at Ashley Ann Head Office were kept in the dark but when contacted were totally unresponsive. Direct emails went unacknowledged and were not replied to. We were obliged to wait weeks for a site visit from a senior member of management. Some of the more important defects included: Shelving which did not fit (see photo). Housings and doors for fridge and freezer were the wrong specification and not fit for purpose. Wall fixings for tall units which were totally inadequate (see photos). The tumble dryer socket was fitted within the tumble dryer housing and did not comply with safety guidance from the Institution of Engineering and Technology (see photo). Work began on 13th Sept 2021 and was finally finished on 9th Feb 2022. It was accepted that "the standard of the initial installation was at best - poor" and that "measures have been put in place to support the inexperienced team in the Edinburgh showroom". It was down to the expertise of the brilliant senior fitters from Thurso, David and Iain, who worked flat out for 3 days to finish a āfour-week projectā which lasted five months. The Domestic Electrical Installation Condition Report signing off the safety of the electrics was finally received in May. Ashley Ann overpromised and woefully underdelivered. My new kitchen looks stunning and the service I received from start to finish was excellent. Neil Parsons is a credit to the company, nothing was too much trouble and I've ended up with a kitchen that surpassed my expectations. I thought Panorama would be out of my price range but I was pleasantly surprised and the quality is top notch. I needed some building work doing before the kitchen could be fitted and Neil put me in touch with Richard Edwards who also did a fabulous job.
I would just like to thank the team at my beautiful bathroom especially David Hamilton and his guys for my 2 stunning bathrooms. From choosing the product with Ben right through till fitting was stress free. I was kept informed of dates for deliveries etc throughout the whole 2weeks of works. It amazing to step into a luxurious shower after months of not having a functioning bathroom. The boys tidied up after the jobs were completed and would not have know they had been there. This is the second time I have used the company and would not hesitate to use them again. Job well done, thanks guys š

Nothing was too much trouble. Everything worked like clockwork and we knew what was happening every day throughout. Cannot recommend them highly enough from design to fitting to electrical work. New guest room wardrobe fitted by Madina kitchens and bedrooms. From the moment I went to the showroom, and after it was fitted, they were professional. Alot of places stop communicating, once they get paid, not Madina. They took the time to find out what we actually wanted. I knew it needed to bespoke, look good fit the room and last. Took almost an hour, but we chose exactly that. Floor to curved ceiling. Alot of places wont fit, to a curved ceiling, very difficult to cut, and easy to make a costly mistake. They fitted it on the first attempt alot of discussion, planning and checking. The fitters are professional. The colour Kashmir, was a perfect match for the room. Looks modern and matches what was there already. The product was dropped off on the right day, and fitter came the following day. It was so difficult to fit it, it should have been 3 hours, they took 6 hours, but the price for fitting remained the same. It was extremely heavy, good quality product. There are a few more rooms to do, utility room, and study room furniture. Not many places deliver on their promises this place as done that for me over 2 years. Have a great 2024. I would recommend getting a free design consultation, you will get ideas you never thought about.

Got a kitchen from WREN which was good until we decided to have WREN approved installer. Ross from WREN was fantastic and always helped when ever required but the installation process forced me to put 1 star. We paid for the installation charges around 4K for a 10K kitchen and were said the installers would charge extra max 1K for the extra work required. "Smart Install Electrical Contracts Ltd" arrived and give a quote around 5K. With less options we agreed with a bit of negotiation but the workmanship was totally un-professional. Had to escalate few times to WREN regarding installation but was said to deal with the installation team directly as WREN do not take responsibility for their approved installers. My advice WREN is good but stay away from there installers.
