The fish soup (crab meat with ginger and coriander) is amazing. Crispy fried stone bass tastes well, especially with the lettuce salad. The warm sticky toffee pudding tastes too sweat, not recommended.
I had dinner in this restaurant after my sister recommended to me because she has been here before and she enjoyed the food. In my opinion the food is average, not bad but also not unforgettable. We had mussels pot, oysters, soup of the day and a seafood platter. - The mussels pot was good but unfortunately I found a hair in it… - the oysters tasted fresh but were very slims; - the seafood platter was good, but for 33pounds I was expecting much more… Not full we decided to take also two desserts which were delicious and pretty big portion. I didn’t like the fact that they charged us 8+ pounds for the service when on the menu and on the receipt itself is specified that it’s discretionary. I didn’t want to complain at the moment in front of other people but this is not fair. We won’t come back again
Got a takeout this evening thought I fancied some seafood...thought I'd give these guys a try because of the raving reviews and also being 10min from my house. What can I say I've found a gem of a restaurant that provides great quality seafood, fresh and tasty and to my pallete. Everyone In my house hold absolutely loved it. Came here for my birthday treat ❤️ absolutely gorgeous food I tried fried oysters yummy 🤤🤤 I had plaice and salad my husband had the mini fish and chips but he wasn't impressed. Food was good, but service not the best. We didn’t feel that they were happy to see us, they didn’t smile at us, and the waiter’s face was sad. Also waiter didn’t know the difference between three types of caviar, which is very strange. It was my birthday and I left note during booking so I was expecting to see «happy birthday inscription on the plate», but nothing happened. Would I recommend this place to anyone? I am not sure.
Went to this restaurant with my friend on Friday. It was busy right when it opened at noon. people working there were really nice. Food was good but a little expensive. They have lots of wines to choose from and it’s in a nice spot. Good place, but you might spend a bit more.
Great quality good portions and dog friendly what more could you ask for?? In case you do bring your dog, the rat traps are humane. Which can make them rather tasty for your dog should they go hunting under your chairs
Visited twice this year and both times very good. Once warm enough to sit outside on the pavement and great to people watch as well as enjoy the food. Another time sitting in a group at the bar which turned out really good as well. Delicious fresh fish and shellfish and good beers and wine. A firm favourite ⭐️

Wow...amazing seafood restaurant. We got the lobster and sharing platter and it was so good, full of flavour. We got the extra spicy, and it was plenty for 2 people. Staff were fantastic warm and welcoming. Atmosphere was very lively very busy. I would recommend you reserve a table because of how busy it can get. Will definitely be coming back.

The food was pretty good for a generic fast food restaurant. It also came out in a very timely manner. Our server Azariam was absolutely delightful. Very warm and attentive. The only thing is the carpet smelt so horrible. As soon as we sat down the scent was so strong. We had to endure A musty constantly wet from spills that uncleaned and let to dry scent for the duration of our time.

Food: Tempura prawns were very tasty and was the best dish. The mixed oysters with sausages also splendid. Spicy salmon tartare was a bit tasteless and didn’t have much flavour. Dessert: Paris- Brest was super average with me having to pour as much chocolate sauce as I could because again, extremely average and bland. I have had better dessert elsewhere. Ambience- It was quite frustrating having my chair knocked every couple of minutes because staff kept hovering around to pick up orders to serve. As you can imagine, it has a weird set up in that the waiters pick up the food in the centre of the restaurant and are told which table to take the food to, so you’ve got lots of waiters hovering behind you ( behind my seat) waiting to pick up orders. The actual staff who are at front desk to assign table were nice. Same with our waiter who kindly moved us when I told him my chair was knocked and he was attentive. Staff cloak room- When I advised her I lost my card, she didn’t seem to bother helping me find it and just explained to ask the restaurant staff but they had already asked me to ask her so no one was actually helpful really until I spoke to someone else. I would say, pretty average and bland for what you are paying for and of course, you’re paying for the name. I would not return personally. Service was good and I didn’t feel rushed out, which made a change but when taking into account my experience as a whole- I would not return at all.

The reservation is a bit hard to get so I snapped a late lunch time. Strict dress code which is fine, love to dress up for special occasions. The service is definitely top notch. Everyone is so attentive, it’s a bit quiet in the restaurants so not much a vibe, everyone was silent. We went for the highest tasting menu, since it seems like has the best value and got to taste their best and signature dishes. Lobster and scallop dish are way too salty. the halibut is too dry. My favorite is the Dover sole, perfect balanced flavor. There’s a mix of flavors, It’s very satisfying after the meal, $315 price tag is not too bad for 3 star, definitely worth trying at least once.
