It was my second time here. I didn’t reserve a table and was told to wait for 30 min( yeah, there was a long line). But I was only one person and only waited for like 10min to get in. The food is always great. I ordered large size stone carb and bisque. I was actually already full after some bread the the bisque🤣 The staff are super professional and friendly. I hate American tip culture and some routine check like “how do you like the food”. But here, you will enjoy the service and I’m happy to offer tips for the service! Highly recommend 🥰

A friend, who is local to Miami, recommended Joe's Stone Crab as a nice place to go for a birthday dinner. We love seafood and we were excited to try it. We were seated promptly and greeted by our server. So many amazing items on the menu that we had a tough time deciding what to try. We settled on tuna tartare with wasabi chips as an appetizer ... delicious! For entrees, we ordered the scallops, sea bass and of course, we had to try the stone crab. Oh, and don't forget the lobster mac & cheese. They brought out bibs for the stone crab and that was a fun photo opportunity. We shared everything, the food was delicious and we were too stuffed to even try dessert. Highly recommend as a Miami staple.

We debated going here it’s historic but is it an overpriced tourist trap? Glad we decided to go! We put our names in for 8pm on a Friday and fully expected not to be seated for an hour or so—it only took 10 minutes. The chopped salad sounded off (peanuts, eggs and olives?) but was absolutely delicious. The coconut shrimp wasn’t too sweet and the stone crab were meaty and perfect. The fried chicken—what a steal! Less than $10 for a generous portion that was juicy and crispy. The most disappointing thing were the sides. We got the meal deal where they add cole slaw, potatoes, creamed spinach, and key lime pie to your stone crab order for $30. The potatoes were dry with little flavor, the creamed spinach tasted liked like it had way too much nutmeg in it, and the cole slaw was just meh. If I went back I’d just get one full-sized side, as it’d probably be fresher. The service was wonderful and the atmosphere was fun. It’s expensive but worth it for a splurge meal!
