Great old fashioned no frills pub. I absolutely love it in here. Drinks are extremely cheap and the bat staff are really friendly. Stayed over on a few occasions also and had no issues with the rooms whatsoever. My only issue is that it's a villa pub, lol. But i still give 5 stars regardless. I will come back time and time again.
Nice little bed and breakfast. We had a warm and friendly greeting upon arrival. Comfortable bed with warm duvet. Had tea/coffee making facilities and breakfast tray. Room was nice and tidy. However we had the room right and the top which had a leaky skylight window, the sink had a crack in it and the plug didn't stay in the hole.
Couldn't stay there because it was unsafe. Steep steps, lack of handrails and poor lighting. Difficult if not impossible for a disabled person. Sadly didn't even get to the room. To call themselves a bed and breakfast. They don't even do breakfast. Would rather go camping. Safety: Lack of handrails. Steps too steep. Steps along corridor when you didn't expect them. I honestly couldn't stay because of safety concerns. I didn't want to break my neck.
We stayed at the Anfield BnB for the Taylor show. Hosts Jay and Fran were really friendly and welcoming and very reliable. The location was great i left the show and was home within 5 minutes. Highly recommend for events at Anfield stadium
Booked direct with John at Square Tree House. He rang as we were leaving to wish us a good journey. Allowed my friend & I in early to get changed for a wedding. Booked our taxi for us & even escorted us into it,true gentleman!! Wife/assistant were making up the rooms. Large house. Had room 3,really big/spacious with drink facilities. Overlooking back garden. Continental breakfast in morning with beautiful crockery/cutlery. Can't fault the service!! Blue door,look for the lights on the bush as no signage,plus bus stop right outside. No issues re parking on street. Rooms: Really big/spacious ensuite in room 3 (93) Bathrobes,large double/single comfy beds with 2 seater settee,chest of drawers,small wardrobe and drink facilities. Nearby activities: John provides good advice and maps for the area and all Liverpools history. Walkability: Think a 20 minute or so walk to city but bus stop is right outside. Food & drinks: Continental breakfast selection with drinks also drink facilities in room. Didn't see bar on site. Noteworthy details: True gentleman who provides all answers you may need. Book direct as its cheaper. Yes we would go again!!
Best place we've stayed in a month touring Scotland. Quiet, beautiful, safe. Superb breakfast. Lovely staff. Impeccably clean. Near bus lines and major taxi thoroughfare. Many good restaurants in the area. Highly recommend but not for children
Cheap enough but no hot water in the taps for 2 nights stay only one teabag, one miniscule sachet of milk, one sachet of coffee!!! Difficulty sleeping as on a main road and crossroads serviced by traffic lights emergency services sirens blaring most of the night cars buses trucks pulling up at the lights below the window a lot with music blasting so according to my tracker I got 3hrs sleep!!! While the room was great with TV free WiFi And my own shower having to be let out of the premises by the young lad in "reception" so he could lock the door behind me then banging on the door to be let back in as the doorbell didn't work made it feel I was in secure compound/security facility!!! No breakfast supplied either 😠
Booked in October for one person for one night, arrived on the day I was due to be booked in to be told they didn't have a room for me. I don't know how they managed it but they didn't have a room for someone who booked 5 months in advance. If you want a place to stay avoid this place at all costs.
Visited this hotel around 2 to 3 years ago, and then the rooms in annexe building opposite the main hotel were in need of a revamp. Very pleased to say that the rooms in this part of the hotel are much improved. The bathrooms have bigger and better showers and the rooms are a good size. There are much better security door locks, too.

Fantastic service and very friendly & helpful staff! The hotel is located in a very lively and nice area of Glasgow (bus stop, great pubs, restaurants, shops, museums and the park nearby). However, the house is in a quiet street, so no worries over a good nights sleep. The (bath)room has seen better days, but you get very good value for your money still. We had a lovely stay! A great place to stay for location. Rooms are a bit small but clean and served their purpose. Breakfast is a simple continental breakfast. Staff is very helpful and accommodating. Most of all, we enjoyed the evening music coupled with the videos and learning experience. Recommend for a reasonable stay!
Let's start off with the good. The location. It's centrally close to the tram station. The view from my room was beautiful. The breakfast was delicious and had variety. The dining service was great. They were friendly, and the service was quick. Downside, it wasn't said ahead of time the lift isn't working, which might not matter to most but going up 4 flights of stairs with our luggage after a long day, was a little painful. It was more of an afterthought "oh by the way, we don't have a working lift." Now, granted, we checked in at night. The guy in the front said he couldn't take our luggage. But during regular check-in time, I heard they would deliver your bags to your room. The other thing is, don't get confused. There's another building next door that is lit outside and says B B, it's not that one. Rooms: Very standard, bed, bathroom, table and TV.
Very warm and welcoming place. Very well managed. Great and quiet location with quite some trees. Very well connected by bus and bike. Rooms are old, but tidy. Excellent value for money.

Everything was perfect, room clean, bed comfortable, the bathroom was good. I had my space and it was quiet at night. I just realized that all the messages sent though booking weren’t delivered until now, so maybe the communication for the instructions could be through WhatsApp. Thanks! We wanted to stay somewhere near the NEC and Springfield was a great find. A very warm welcome and the cleanest B&B I have ever stayed in. Perfect location close to lots of pubs and restaurants. So much better value than the resort hotel we stayed in last year for the same event!|Would have no hesitation in recommending or returning.

Clean, comfy bed, quiet, looked like new furniture, very good WiFi, and walk in wet room with powerful shower. I have no actual complaints The size of the room, the norm for single room. Stayed for two nights in December. The hotel and staff are lovely. Tim the night manager was particularly helpful. The room was described as small, but was bigger than expected with modern fixtures and fittings, and best pillows I've ever slept on in a hotel. The evenings were quiet, heard nothing of the other guests during the night. Breakfast was in with the room and cooked perfectly to order in the cafe/diner. Only a short 10 minute walk to the tube, quicker than getting the bus. Definitely recommend this little gem, and will be staying on my next trip to London. Rooms: Our room was bigger than most twins I've stayed in with a mirrored sliding wardrobe with partitioned draws. Good customer service and location. BUT the basement room (#1) is full of mold and has a noticeable musty smell. The bathroom mold situation is clearly a health code violation.
