Reviews Summary

Abbey Point Hotel has garnered a reputation for providing a pleasant and comfortable stay, as evidenced by recent customer reviews. The hotel is consistently praised for its friendly and helpful staff, cleanliness, and well-maintained rooms equipped with modern amenities such as comfortable beds, fridges, and in some cases, microwaves and massage chairs. Notably, the quality of sleep seems to be a high point, with several guests highlighting the comfort of the pillows and the quiet evenings. The food offered, particularly the breakfast, is frequently commended for its variety and the ability to order cooked-to-preference meals. While the hotel is situated on an industrial estate, which may not appeal to all, it is noted to be reasonably quiet with good transport links to central London. However, there are some areas for improvement, including noise from other guests in the corridors and issues with hot water availability. The location, although secure and offering convenient public transport options, is described as a bit removed from central London, and a few guests found the walk to the nearest tube station less than ideal during nighttime hours.

Stayed for two nights in December. The hotel and staff are lovely. Tim the night manager was particularly helpful. The room was described as small, but was bigger than expected with modern fixtures and fittings, and best pillows I've ever slept on in a hotel. The evenings were quiet, heard nothing of the other guests during the night. Breakfast was in with the room and cooked perfectly to order in the cafe/diner. Only a short 10 minute walk to the tube, quicker than getting the bus. Definitely recommend this little gem, and will be staying on my next trip to London. Rooms: Our room was bigger than most twins I've stayed in with a mirrored sliding wardrobe with partitioned draws. Bed was comfy with the best pillows ever Safety: Felt completely safe, if you don't shut your door properly it starts beeping Walkability: Bus stop 1 minute walk Tube/trains 10 minutes walk Food & drinks: Food was great, had a set breakfast first day, and built my own on the 2nd, we'll cooked and bright to your table.

Great hotel. Staff very friendly and helpful. Communal areas and rooms very clean and well maintained. Comfy beds, plenty of space. Good en-suite bathroom. Fridge in the room too. Didn't have time for food but looked very good! Would recommend Abbey Point to anyone. Rooms: Spacious. Well maintained. Comfy beds.

Rooms are good, my room was clean and equipped with fridge and microwave. However, there was a lot of noise in the corridors at night from other guests and constant terribly loud door slamming. Was put on edge by this. Good breakfast and helpful staff.
