Reviews Summary

Overall sentiment for YouFibre’s internet service is mixed, with some customers highlighting fast speeds and professional installers, while others express strong dissatisfaction with customer service. Reviewers consistently note positive interactions with sales representatives like Jay Hutchison, reliable installation experiences, and high-speed internet packages that meet or exceed advertised performance. However, criticism is aimed at slow or unresponsive customer support—particularly regarding phone and online hold times, difficulty in resolving complaints, and handling of contract or equipment returns.

The most common themes center on internet speed reliability, quality of the engineering team, and the clarity of sales communications. While installation often receives praise for professionalism, several reviews call out inconsistent router performance or misleading initial promises about signal strength and home coverage. Customer service, especially around cancellations, escalation of issues, and follow-ups for promised payments, is commonly cited as a major area for improvement.

Based on reviewer feedback, YouFibre’s reputation is defined by impressive technical delivery and installation standards but frequently undermined by customer service shortcomings. For prospective customers—especially in the UK—YouFibre may offer a technically strong broadband service but is perceived as less dependable when it comes to timely support and issue resolution.

I was sold YouFibre at my front door by one of the sales representatives named Jay Hutchison, what a top bloke he is. I was sceptical due to being in contract with my previous supplier however they offered to do a contract buy-out if I was to come on board. I can’t confirm what it is going to be like getting the money for the contract buy-out as I have only just had my last bill from my previous supplier and sent this to YouFibre at the time of writing this. After a long discussion with Jay i agreed to join the YouFibre family and what a difference in internet speeds, I am on the 500 Mbps package and the speeds have been very consistent ranging from around 480 Mbps - 530 Mbps download and upload speed. You do have to have an engineer visit as a new FTTP modem has to be installed as they don’t use the Openreach modem. The engineer who attended my property was polite and very respectful, he even tided up after himself as a hole had to be drilled through the wall and also into the wall to mount the new modem. The only negative part of my experience so far was before the home install we had another engineer come out to do the cabling outside of the property which nobody had informed us about so when they knocked the door it was slightly confusing. All round seems to be a very good service and at the most reasonable prices.

Tried loads of different Internet providers and YouFibre live up to their reputation, seriously fast speeds, customer service is fantastic, equipment is top quality and overall an impressive company. The only negative I can say is about their wait times on the phone lately, but in relation to that, it just shows that they are busy because they are so good. I would definitely recommend this company to anyone looking for a superior Internet provider. They are always expanding their coverage and locations too and they have earned their 5 stars, Great work YouFibre

My experience has been great. Installed on time. Amazing fast speeds and down. Low latency. Contract buyout payment settled quickly, referral fee paid to me quickly. Support over email has been responsive. I was originally worried after reading the negative reviews, need not have been. Internet connection is light-years better than virgin which I had previously. The ~14x lower latency makes everything feel snappy and responsive. Caveat, I'm not using the provided router and use my own unify setup with it, so my network is pretty decent too.
