This is some text inside of a div block.
We’re updating our review to mention the most important part - the team behind it all. - Kirsty - always super helpful, sorts things out quickly. - Alvin - great support during onboarding, made things smoother. - Dominic and Aiden - always there when needed, proper helpful. - And a few others we’ve spoken to along the way - always solid support all round. We saw loads of bad reviews about Plentific, but honestly, most people just don’t know how to use it properly. It was tricky at the start, but as a successful maintenance company in London, we found real value in the platform once we got the hang of it. The marketplace and built-in CRM are solid, and the support team’s been great whenever we’ve reached out. Big thanks to the team - appreciate the support.

For a small business owner, running a cleaning company the Plentific system is completely rubbish & waste of time. There is no support or guidance on anything whatsoever. The verification process is pointless and a complete waste of money for small business owner. There is no jobs on there and even when jobs come on there they are not open to all and only a selected few. I have been on the system from 2022 and trust me, nothing gets posted job wise. Typically, local government authority/housing association culture which they only look after there “friends”. I was harassed by a gentleman from Plentific requesting my company to become CIS registered. Despite warnings from my accountant I went along with it as he claimed it would open my company up to more jobs on the app. This was in June 2024 fast forward Dec 2024 and nothing. I recommended all small business owners to not bother and waste your time and money to be registered on a pointless system with hardly any jobs being posted on there. The craziest thing about it is that if any of your verification is out of date by at least 2 hours your locked out of the system. If someone from Plentific wants to refute my review then feel free to call or email me to have a conversation.

Typically, I’m not one to publicly critique or speak negatively about a company, especially one we’ve worked closely with for years. However, I feel compelled to share my experience. For almost two years, we’ve been using the Plentific platform, successfully working with major clients like Notting Hill Genesis, London & Quadrant, Peabody, Sovereign Network, and others. Throughout this time, we’ve delivered a consistently high standard of service. Unfortunately, since June of last year, we’ve been plagued by ongoing issues, many of which can be traced back to the large housing associations we worked with via Plentific. Despite these challenges, we completed our projects, upheld our commitments, and worked diligently not only for the benefit of the housing providers but also for the residents themselves. We were never a source of problems. In August, we informed Plentific about our plans to rebrand in January. They responded by stating we would need to reset our account and undergo a new vetting process as a "new" company. In the meantime, they requested we complete all remaining work and hold off on submitting invoices. At that point, we still had over 200 work orders to process, and Plentific was fully aware of this. They also knew we hadn’t been receiving payments for some invoices, several dating back to June. We followed up with them twice more in the weeks leading up to the transition, ensuring they were updated. However, it became clear that the housing associations involved weren’t aware of the unfolding payment issues and assumed we were at fault—likely because Plentific misrepresented the situation to them, just as they were doing with us. We later discovered that Plentific had, in fact, been paid by the housing associations but was withholding payments owed to our company. As a result of these delays, I’ve been forced to cover the cost of materials, fuel, engineer wages, and subcontractors out of my personal finances. This has left me in a dire financial position—something I’ve never experienced before. I have even struggled to provide food for my family because of this. I reached out to Plentific’s CEO directly to explain the situation, but my message was read and completely ignored and better yet blocked on LinkedIn. Plentific’s broken promises, misinformation, and dishonesty have not only damaged my company but have also affected me personally. For anyone considering using Plentific as a repairs platform—whether as a contractor or a business—I would strongly advise against it. This corrupt company does not deliver the reliability or transparency you deserve. Everyone working hard to do good in life deserves better than this.

Reviews Summary

The reviews for Plentific, a repairs and maintenance platform, reveal a mixed reputation among its users. Many reviewers highlight positive experiences with the support team, noting specific individuals for their responsiveness and helpfulness. There is praise for the platform’s intuitive nature, effective vetting, payment processes, and management support. However, a significant number of customers report frustration with job availability, payment delays, lack of transparency, fairness concerns, and organizational issues in both the platform and staff interactions.

Frequent themes across the reviews include the helpfulness and efficiency of Plentific’s support staff, particularly during onboarding, and the ease of use for both contractors and clients. Recurring concerns involve limited job access, pre-booking for preferred companies, selective practices, aggressive verification requirements, and payment or invoicing problems, especially for small businesses. Some users feel the app prioritizes lowest-cost bids, which can compromise job quality and contractor earnings.

Overall, Plentific is regarded as having strengths in support and platform design, but struggles with consistency in job distribution and fairness, particularly in the London maintenance sector. Trust in the company is undermined for some due to financial and transparency issues, yet others continue to endorse it for its functionality and long-term reliability. This mixed sentiment shapes Plentific’s standing in the local marketplace.
