Reviews Summary

Overall sentiment regarding Viessmann boiler service is mixed, with strong opinions on both ends of the spectrum. Reviewers often mention rapid engineer callouts and efficient in-person support, as well as straightforward installation experiences. However, there is substantial criticism about customer service responsiveness, unclear warranty processes, and inconsistent availability of replacement parts. Negative feedback highlights challenges reaching the company, delays in service response, and frustrations with warranty coverage.

Common themes emerging include the quality and efficiency of the boilers themselves, which several reviewers and installers view positively, particularly regarding heating performance and build. On the other hand, many customers report ongoing difficulties with warranty validation, obtaining support, and communication breakdowns. Professional installers consistently note satisfaction with product features, while end-users often encounter support and reliability issues. Some service complaints are associated with specific staff interactions.

In summary, Viessmann's reputation for central heating services is divided, with installers and some customers in the UK expressing satisfaction with technical quality, but recurring frustration with aftercare and customer service. While the products themselves are often praised, the overall perception in the UK market is hampered by reliability and support concerns.

Phoned Viessmann Service late morning on 15 August. No hot water and error fault F4. Received return call within 15 minutes to confirm engineer will be with you tomorrow 16 August between 8:00 and 10:00 am. Engr phoned at 9:00 saying arriving 9:30. Promt, quick diagnosis and repair. Excellent service and a very good boiler. Many thanks, I’ve a busy house this weekend with visitors from Spain.

I contacted Viessmann to confirm my boiler registration and secure the warranty, but their process has been frustratingly unclear. Despite multiple attempts, I can't get through on the phone, and their email responses take far too long. To make matters worse, the link they provide for checking the warranty leads to a nonexistent webpage. Since I haven't received the promised 12-year warranty from Eazy Heat, who installed the boiler, I’m unsure whether they even registered it. Viessmann's lack of responsiveness has made what should be a straightforward process unnecessarily difficult.

Old boiler prematurely failed soo After a lot of research and asking I decided to buy this German made boiler. 7 people where I work have them and rate highly. I installed and modded plumbing, commissioned boiler, it was working but had a fault light on. I thought as usual I got the broke one, fault code not in supplied manual. Phone tech support and they sorted in seconds. Description in the instructions for settings is a bit lost in translation, I had selected what I thought was the setting for a room stat, it wasn’t, the one I needed was….constant heating with room control, not open thermostat. (option 13). All ok, all wired issues now gone. It also has a stainless steel heat exchange which I hope last longer than the aluminium composite ones. Make sure you have the inhibitor in your system and a mag filter this will validate warranty and stop any corrosion. Heats water very quickly even now as weather turns cold and the heating heat up in mins can run bath tap on full and water to hot to keep hand in (50deg). I have the 050-w 35kw All you need is in the box and no more, you need to buy a flue too, template for hanging very useful, installation was very easy and all in all very easy to commission and set up for me. Customer service was brilliant. Standard 7 year guarantee when you register and follow there rules. Looks good too and fits into a standard cupboard if need. When you take the front of it looks M/T ……which means it’s very well thought out loads of room inside if you needed to work on it. Fingers crossed not for a long time. You officially need a check valve and expansion vessel fitted for the cold water inlet. If you put a check valve in you must fit a expansion vessel or it can damage boiler.
