Absolute joke of a company!. Ordered some shoes and was then told they were the last of my size in stock and were found to have defects so they would have to cancel my order and refund me the money within 3-5 working days. Way over a week went by and still nothing. I then contacted them to see what was going on and they say the refund has been fully issued but I have not yet received anything, so my only option was to contact my bank and start a merchant dispute. The only way you will get your refund is if you contact your bank and claim a merchant dispute. AVOID THIS COMPANY!!!

An elderly relative bought 3 pairs of UGG slippers in June for Xmas presents. As they are elderly they trusted that the company had sent the right sizes in the right quantities. Come Xmas we opened our presents and the slippers were too small. After swapping them around family we asked to return one pair. They accepted liability and offered to accept a return. Sent us Royal Mail returns labels and everything. We sent them back and a week later they returned them to us saying they would no longer be willing to accept them. When I emailed, I explained everything and they seemed to happy to accept them back. I completely get that they were bought in June but if they had of said this in the first place I could have found an alternative. I was also willing to accept anything they could have offered as I accept that we were at joint fault for not checking. They only reason I am giving them any star is because they did reply quickly at the start. Terrible company and would agree with other comments- SCAM!

I placed an order on 19th November with an expected delivery of 3-5 working days. After countless emails chasing why I hadn't heard anything I finally got an email back on 13th December saying it was dispatched! Parcel arrived on 16th December however half the items were missing! Contacted by email yet again and it took 3 days for them to reply asking me to photograph the item I had no received!?!? Is this some sort of sick joke?????? I have asked for a refund but obviously haven't received a reply. They do not answer the phone either! I would say customer service is poor but it's actually non existent!

Reviews Summary

The overall sentiment toward TOWER, a footwear retailer, is overwhelmingly negative based on recent customer reviews. Most reviewers highlight significant dissatisfaction with issues such as delayed or missing refunds, lack of communication, incorrect or missing items, and non-responsive customer service. Instances of positive feedback are rare, with only one customer mentioning fast delivery and competitive prices. Negative themes dominate the discourse, including accusations of unfulfilled refunds and complaints about unhelpful or even rude staff.

The most common issues mentioned by customers involve logistical problems like lost orders, shipping delays, and incorrect product sizes. Multiple reviews report difficulties reaching customer service, with emails and calls often going unanswered and queries left unresolved for extended periods. Some customers cite misleading promises regarding refunds or exchanges and the need to resort to external remedies such as bank disputes.

Overall, TOWER's reputation as a shoe shop appears to be poor based on recent reviews, especially in terms of reliability and trust. The persistent nature of complaints—across refunds, deliveries, and post-sale communication—raises concerns about process consistency and customer support. TOWER may face ongoing trust issues among customers, particularly in the UK, unless substantial improvements are made.
