Poor experience. My friend came in to buy a pair of shoes £200+. The first day they tried to get the shoes, no one served them, they sat there waiting for 10 minutes while the single sales associate rang the bell for help. Multiple staff walked past her and didn't help or acknowledge her. I went back with her to try again to see if having another person with her would improve the service. Once again, no one greeted her. We waited by the till with the sample shoe and no one came to help. Eventually, she went up to the sales associate who at that point did help. She finally got to try on the shoes but the sales associate was still awkward with us and inattentive. There was another couple buying multiple pairs of sales shoes who was getting the attention of multiple sales associates. We felt it because they were dressed is designer labels and probably looked more "put together" than us in our jeans and t shirts even though my friend was spending more money than them combined. Towards the end of the fitting, some sales associates hovered near us stacking shelves but did not acknowledge us. We got the feeling they were watching us to make sure my friend didn't steal the shoes. Altogether, a poor experience. My friend and I felt we were profiled and possibly discriminated against. My friend's sister works for Shuch and agreed with us that the experience was shocking, staff are supposed to greet you within a minute of you entering the store and the Leeds store is considered a flagship store. If this is representative of Shuch as a whole, it reflects poorly on the brand as a whole.
