Steer clear. My WiFi has never been so patchy (and this is with alleged speedy fibre). Unexpected extras added to bills, which turned out to be optional. No email received to tell me my contract would be ending, which would have prompted me to switch. So I have had to pay a final month at a rate 77% higher than my usual bill. They muddled my mobile number with another account so I was getting texts and calls about an engineer visit in a different part of the country. Standard of customer service is variable (I had to make seven calls in one day yesterday). I was looking to save money by switching to Pop Telecom but it has been not worth it. I’ve given notice and reluctantly paid my final bill to just be free of having to deal with this company. I’ve requested a call back about my complaint but the call handler I spoke to (in a different department) seemed to think I would just get an email. Any trust I had in them has gone. I’m switching back to a the reassurance of a well known , established provider.

Upon purchasing a package, I was promptly called and informed that i required a student package that came with a significant price hike, this package was mandatory. I inquired whether being a postgraduate doctoral student made a difference or whether my co-renter, who is no longer a student would be able to place a purchase, to which I was told that now it's in the system, I'd be required to have the more expensive package. Nowhere on the website is there any obvious mention of a mandatory student package, and the explanation as to why students deserve an increased rather than decreased price was less than satisfactory - along the lines of "oh it's company policy". This is incredibly disapointing behaviour especially after having just paid the admin fee for set-up.

AJ at customer support was fast and effective at providing me with help for all my queries. I feel satisfied that, despite being a busy time, I received good service and my issue was quickly resolved. AJ was very respectful and professional.
