Reviews Summary

The overall sentiment toward Home Title Lock is quite mixed, with both sharply critical and strongly positive feedback appearing in customer reviews. While several reviewers report effective support from named staff like Destiny and Justin, as well as prompt problem resolution and knowledgeable phone representatives, other users are highly skeptical about the necessity and legitimacy of the service. Complaints include aggressive sales tactics, a lack of notifications on critical account events, and difficulties in canceling or receiving refunds.

Common themes center on customer service quality and the perceived value of Home Title Lock's protections. Positive reviewers highlight individual employee professionalism, timely responses to inquiries, and successful identification or correction of title issues. Conversely, multiple users question the company’s sales approach, challenge the need for such protection, and express frustration over repeated calls and delayed communications regarding account activity.

Overall, Home Title Lock’s reputation in the US is divided. Those who have directly benefited from the service tend to praise its customer care and technical assistance, but a notable number of customers voice skepticism or dissatisfaction regarding aggressive marketing and the product’s practical value. The disparity in experiences sets a complex reputation profile for consumers considering this type of software-based title monitoring service.

This place prays upon your fear. If someone uses a false or illegal notary seal, the transfer or sale is automatically null and void. It’s not very easy to obtain a notary public seal anyway, but it’s very easy to have it revoked. My mother, my uncle, and my aunt are all notaries, and my cousin was a district attorney and is now a superior court judge. I’ve asked each of them if this is something that happens, and all said no. My cousin, the judge, said the same as I mentioned above, which if the signature doesn’t match yours or if you wasn’t present during the notary documentation, then regardless if the clerk files it, the title or document will be null. I would not recommend this service, simply because there’s less than a .05% chance that this will ever happen to you. Also, the only state I could find, that county clerks must file, regardless of if the documents look to be fraudulent, is Delaware. Surely they have made changes to their laws. If for some reason it did get filed, I’d sue the state and county for filing fraudulent documents on purpose. This service kinda looks like a scam in itself to me. Please do some research, and do not just take my word for it. Go to your county clerks office and ask questions, call an attorney you know or one you trust, and look into the odds of this happening realistically. This place will do everything to convince you that it’s something that you need, when my research shows otherwise. My county clerk told me that he has never heard of this happening to anyone, and he’s been filing titles for over 25 years.

Wanted to cancel my subscription because I didn’t fully understand the services being rendered upon my initial purchase. Destiny W. Understood the subject knowledge of her profession. She assured I knew exactly who Home Title Lock was and the extensive coverages, services, and protections they offered. Her education, insight, and instruction made me proudly take the time out my day just to say WOW! Her passion is self taught and her vision excels success! That’s the type of individual who needs to shine in corporate. She saved the sale, changed my entire mindset, and made me put some respect on Home Title Locks name. What a great reflection and reputation! Forever my lasting memory.

I've had some questions regarding our need for this type of service. I made a quick call to the 800 number and spoke with Joshua. He was very knowledgeable, polite, and easily understood. I knew that I wouldn't be making a decision over the phone, so I asked if part of his compensation was commission; Nope!! Not an ounce of awkward questions trying for the over the phone close. Invited me to call back with any other questions. If you were giving a class on how to professionally represent an employer over the phone, Joshua would be your role model.
