my engineer was Shawn John. I could not have had a better service nor a more knowledgeable polite professional as Shawn. He came on time. He was efficient. He explained how everything worked. He was super polite and I could tell he is a real hard worker too. He even came back for second time to help set up my separate WiFi in my gaming room as I was having issues connecting and setting up. He didn't have to do that he went above and beyond. I cannot praise him enough. Well done community fibre but big thank you to Shawn John. He is an asset to your company. I8684

Subject: Extremely Disappointed with Service and Misleading Contract Terms I’m extremely unhappy with the service I’ve received. I signed up in good faith, expecting to be able to assess whether the service met my needs. However, when I attempted to cancel—before even fully using the service—I was told I could not, because my “cooling-off” period had already expired. Apparently, this period starts from the date I signed up, not from when the service was actually connected to my property. How is that reasonable? To make matters worse, it took 13 days just for someone to come and connect the line. This delay effectively traps customers into the contract before they’ve even had a chance to try the service. It feels like a deliberate tactic to prevent cancellations. Now, I’m locked into a contract for a service I don’t want, and cost increases by £2 every year—something that wasn’t made clear upfront. This entire experience feels misleading and unfair. I’d appreciate it if someone could look into this seriously and provide a fair resolution.

Excellent customer service during sign up and they handled the switch over from Virgin which was a bonus. Good communication via texts/a call ahead of installation. The engineer (Ali) was on time, communicated well beforehand, and explained each step of the process. The switchover was quick, no loss of internet and Ali was friendly and professional through out. One month in, no problems with connection and wish we'd switched sooner.
