Good afternoon It’s been almost a year since I’ve been unable to monitor my generator, and I don’t know if it’s doing its weekly exercises every Wednesday at the scheduled time. After nearly 10 months, the issue with the serial number of my generator was finally resolved. From the beginning, the serial number had been mistakenly assigned to another customer. Once that serial number issue was corrected, I was able to contact Mobile Link technical support, since the staff at Canter Power told me that I needed to resolve the issue through them. After resolving the serial number problem and following all the technical support steps provided by Mobile Link — including performing a hard reset by disconnecting the battery — they concluded that my current problem is that my router is not working. Because of that, I can’t connect to Mobile Link from my phone to monitor my generator. After that, I called Canter Power’s technical support and informed them of my situation and the issues I was facing. The technician only took my name and address and said they would be contacting me as soon as possible to send a technician. It’s been a week, and I’m still waiting for a response. I haven’t even received an email letting me know that they will call or when they plan to visit. I’m honestly very disappointed with the poor service this company has provided regarding my generator. The only thing I’ve received from Generac is information about maintenance plans, and I don’t even know if my generator currently needs any of that.

I don’t know if this is an isolated case or not, but I’ve had the worst time with this company. The most recent challenge is a gas leak that took three days for them to Come out for an urgent call. Thank goodness my hot water heater and stove are electric. Then yesterday, a week later I receive a text from the company saying they are coming out to fix the gas leak. SMH. one hand doesn’t know what the other hand is doing. I will say that Steve Holland that fixed the gas leak last week was exceptional! He explained what he fixed and showed me a leak that Piedmont gas needed to address when they arrive for the inspection. The initial installation went anything but smooth leaving a giant hole in bedroom ceiling, cracks in my living room ceiling, bathroom ceiling fan and smoke detector falling off the ceiling. Although Canter Promise to fix everything like new the initial team they sent that was also employed by Canter, did a terrible job. I insisted that they hire an independent contractor who did an amazing job fixing the ceiling, although it was a month later. One of the most upsetting things was Wayne, The installer who was responsible for the damage, told me my house that was built in 2018 was bad construction. Needless to say this did not sit well with me and we argued trigging an anxiety attack.I finally reached out to the COO to have everything resolved. Positive comments would be two men who dropped off the generator were are very professional And respectful.

We have been 100% satisfied with our Generac which Canter Power installed in 2019. The recently completed annual service which Matt Williams performed was professionally done. We have had only a few minor issues occur with our system which were promptly corrected by Canter Power.
