Buildertrend University process was so polished and full of valuable information. The staff is absolutely amazing, full of energy, and ready to help you in any way they can. I highly recommend attending this training if you have 1 question or many questions. I am learning so much more than I planned for as well as learning more information on items I thought I already knew.

I’ve been using this platform for over 6 years, and I’m really disappointed with the recent changes. The old budget tab was simple, clear, and effective—now it’s been replaced with a complicated “job costing” tab that makes it harder to access the same information. Updates are supposed to improve usability, not add steps and confusion. Please stop fixing what wasn’t broken.

Longtime customer who has grown a company using this software. It proved useful at first however it is increasingly archaic and glitchy. At first I thought my team was falling short, but now it seems more like the totality of the offerings cannot be utilized because the system is fundamentally too clunky. Updates are rolled out frequently that undermine certain functions and cause extra work to retrofit your setup to their new configuration, issues are acknowledged and never fixed, the schedule is far more labor intensive than it needs to be. The cherry on top for me has been the item master (cost items in the cost catalog) randomly unlinking on multiple occasions, to which they have replied multiple times that they are aware of the problem but there is nothing they can do. Essentially we have been left to manually fix these issues and no recompense has been offered. This time around I even reached out to my account manager to discuss and never heard back. This software had promise but has fallen short as of late. I would advise exploring other options. Follow up: I maintain my position. This software is getting worse, not better. I even copied Brooke (who responded to this comment) on an email and never heard back from her.
