Highly recommend Waggel, had nothing but a great experience with them I had to make a claim this year as my young dog had a mass cell tumour removed and then a infection a few weeks later. It was an awful time for us but claiming on our insurance was very straight forward, quick and both my claims were approved and paid out within a week!! Was grateful it was made so easy as we were really upset and worried about our dog (who is now all better and back to himself) I was expecting our premiums to increase quite a bit when the renewal was up, and I was prepared for this as I knew he'd now have an existing health conditions on his record however I was pleasantly shocked when our renewal came through and it had only gone up by £6 a month! So reasonable and it's nice to be with an insurance company that isn't just about ripping you off.

I wouldnt recommend them, they take several days and in one case several weeks to respond to claims that have been made. Ive been waiting for them to pay out for a claim i made for over a month because, and it took them 3 weeks to tell me, that my dog is down as one breed at the vets when he is actually a mix breed. And because of this they have held my claim and may reject it. If it does get rejected I will be taking it up in court as they have happily taken my money for years and then when I try to claim, for something that isnt breed related the chose not to be helpful

I have not been a Waggel customer very long and unfortunately had to have our beautiful Dog put to sleep about 2 months after taking out cover. When I first took out cover I was delighted with the process and price I was paying as it was very good cover for the monthly price. Since the loss of our Dog (Buffy) the service has been fantastic and we have received nothing but support and empathy. The claim process was dealt with quickly and was paid within 2 days after being approved and I have received two emails of two different employees of Waggel sharing condolences with us. I have just returned home from work to find a sympathy card has been delivered also from Waggel which has been hand written from the team. I honestly cannot fault anything and we are so grateful everything has been made that little bit easier at this traumatic time 😢 I would like to thank you all from the bottom of my heart, losing my first Dog has been the hardest thing I have ever been through in my life.
