Reviews Summary

The overall sentiment for Vdara Hotel & Spa in Las Vegas is mixed, with reviewers acknowledging both strengths and significant areas for improvement. Guests commonly appreciate the hotel’s location off the Strip, the spaciousness and cleanliness of rooms, and the calm, smoke-free environment. However, recurrent issues such as slow or unresponsive service, maintenance problems, strict policies on amenities, and negative interactions with staff shape critical opinions.

Several reviewers emphasize Vdara’s convenient walkable proximity to attractions like the Bellagio and Cosmopolitan, along with features such as modern suites with kitchenettes, good city views, and a quieter atmosphere compared to casino hotels. Positive remarks highlight cleanliness, the absence of smoking, and an overall relaxing vibe, while negative experiences frequently mention delays at check-in, inadequate housekeeping, lack of free amenities beyond a minimal amount of water, and elevated costs for parking or in-room items.

Overall, Vdara Hotel & Spa in Las Vegas is viewed as a comfortable, well-located option with a peaceful setting, but concerns about inconsistent service, value for price, and customer care affect its reputation. For travelers seeking convenience and calm, it remains notable, though expectations around amenities and service may require adjustment.

Excellent hotel close to the Strip. You can walk through Cosmopolitan to get here. The rooms are luxurious and comfortable. We had view on the Sphere and the Bellagio fountains. There is no casino in this hotel. Free luggage storage for early arrival and late departure. Recommended.

I am extremely disappointed and will never stay at Vdara again. I specifically chose this hotel for the kitchen amenities, but I received no benefit from them. I understand that kitchenware is available upon request, but it takes forever to reach someone over the room phone. I was on hold for at least 30 minutes just to make a request, and it took anywhere from 30 minutes to over an hour to actually receive the service. Several outlets in the room did not work, and the buttons for the shades and blackout curtains were also nonfunctional. The table lamp wasn’t working either, and I had to request a repair three times as no one came for hours after each request. I also asked for four water bottles at the front desk and was told that only two bottles are allowed per person. When I explained that two people were staying, the staff member said both people had to be present in person to receive the bottles. That’s an incredibly ridiculous policy, especially for such a basic amenity. On top of that, the employee I interacted with was unfriendly and spoke in a dismissive tone, unlike the other staff members at the hotel. She should not be working at the front desk. Overall, the hotel offers very limited amenities and does not live up to five-star service standards. This was the worst hotel experience I’ve ever had, and I would not recommend this place to anyone.

We stayed at the regular king suite. The room is huge, it has a kitchen with kitchen tables and chairs. Also the room has 3 seat sofa and a little desk. Very clean inside out. The room smells good, not like Luxor hotel the room smell good, no smoking smell at all. Automatic blackouts window curtains. Nice view also. Will definitely come back.
