I had a very disappointing experience with Vavista. I received a sudden cancellation notice for my car insurance with no clear explanation and only 7 days’ notice. There was no warning, no chance to fix the issue, and no proper customer support to help clarify the situation. It feels like they are more focused on charging cancellation fees than actually supporting their customers. I would not recommend this company to anyone looking for reliable and transparent service.

DO NOT USE DO NOT USE , PLEASE DO NOT USE PLEASE DO NOT USE Shocking! Under no circumstances use this company. PLEASE DO NOT USE !AVOID AVOID AVOID I've been in the car business for 35 years and have never seen such a rip off ! Needed to cancel a policy, on hold for over 1 & 1/5 hours. Then got a call from "Bristol " more like Manila, ( nothing wrong with over seas call centres, but dont pretend to somewhere your not ) be given a cancellation fee of over £116.00 ! After long debate they dropped to £81.00. What if I was venerable? Just wrong on every level. Thier Web site claims £50.00. I asked if I £50.00 only, and was told I could expect debt collectors at my door ! DO NOT USE DO NOT USE DO NOT USE DO NOT USE

I am leaving a review but to be honest you clearly don't take on board the contents of the reviews already posted. So why request to be slaughtered. Start valuing your customers because eventually you won't have any. My review as follows. I had an existing policy with Go Skippy, (same company I later learnt). I informed Go Skippy of a change of vehicle they returned an additional premium of £448 to change the policy to the new vehicle. The quote seemed rather expensive so I thought I would go on the net to get an alternative quote. I cancelled the policy and was informed I would only get back £185 back which meant it had cost me £201 for 54 days cover, outrageous. The best quote I then got was with Vavista. I took out the cover not knowing Go Skippy was your sister company. If I had known and read the reviews, before taking the cover i most certainly would not have proceeded. I then realised when collecting the car at the dealership they had took off the private reg plate and registered the car back to its original registration. I informed you within minutes of the reg error and was informed that I would have to pay £50 for the change. I complained and a manager reduced it to £35, still a rip off I thought but I had no option. One week later I advised you I was to put on my private plate. I was then told you required another £50 to do the change. Again I had no other option but to pay. The whole process has left me feeling totally ripped off, just like the many previous reviews have brought to your attention. The add on charges and the content of other customer reviews has made me very nervous of your support service should I have an accident. Finally get rid of the Call Centre, useless.
