Reviews Summary

The overall sentiment toward SageSure insurance is highly negative based on recent customer reviews. Reviewers consistently mention issues such as unexplained policy cancellations, poor communication, delayed inspections, significant refund delays, and added charges without clear justification. A few positive comments are directed toward individual staff members who provided helpful service, but these are exceptions. Many customers explicitly state they would not recommend SageSure or have left due to frustration with the claims and billing processes.

The most common themes highlighted include unexplained premium increases, lack of clarity on charges, slow or no response from customer service, repeated errors in billing, and perceived unfair inspection or cancellation practices. Customers detail prolonged struggles to resolve basic issues—such as account access, obtaining refunds, and updating mortgage billing—which have led to financial stress and inconvenience. Only two reviews mention helpful staff members; the dominant narrative centers around dissatisfaction and distrust.

Overall, SageSure is regarded as struggling with customer support and operational transparency, especially regarding insurance policy administration and claims. These patterns are consistent across all reviewed locations, impacting trust and causing customers to seek alternatives. The company's current reputation among reviewers is unfavorable, with substantial concerns about reliability and accountability.

If I could give zero stars, I would. This company was my insurance provider starting 12/15/2024. On 1/23/2025 I received a cancellation notice as a result of a property inspecting discovering some loose tiles on my roof. I found out about this approximately two weeks later. I immediately hired a complete roof replacement. I advised SageSure that the roof was being replaced and provided the contract for service and requested a postponement of the cancellation. They refused. A week later when I received the city permit I forwarded it to show the steps that were being taken. SageSure refused to postpone the cancellation. My policy was cancelled on 2/27/2025. On 3/4/2025 it was reinstated after the work was completed and proof provided. On 3/14/2025 a "digital invoice" in the amount of $2,036.28 was uploaded to my account. SageSure forwarded it to my mortgage company wherein my impound account was charged the additional amount on top of my $1,836 I already paid. My agent attempted on three occasions to get answers as to why I was charged the additional $2,000+ with no luck. It has now been two months with no explanation and no refund. I cancelled the policy on 4/15/2025. But, in the meantime, my mortgage payment has increased almost $400 as a result of the new insurance charges. This company is the worst! I would never recommend them. They are guilty of conversion!

Absolutely Frustrating and Unprofessional Experience I’ve never written a public complaint before, but SageSure has pushed me to my limit. I trusted this company to handle my home insurance—what I got instead was lies, delays, and complete disregard for customer service. They falsely claimed that I declined a home inspection (I was NEVER contacted), and now I’m being financially punished for their internal failures. Because SageSure hasn’t sent the declaration page to my mortgage company, I’m now stuck with TWO insurance policies showing on my file and a $500 increase in my monthly mortgage payment. I’m a single mother—this is not just inconvenient; it’s cruel. I’ve made multiple calls, sent messages. That was over a month ago. No one ever followed up. No inspection happened. No help. Just silence. This has caused stress, financial burden, and emotional exhaustion. I’m tired of being given the runaround. I expected integrity, not indifference. If you value peace of mind and professionalism, stay far away from SageSure. I wouldn't wish this experience on anyone. Do better. People’s homes and lives are not games. — Foluso Faseyitan

Nothing but crooks…and confirmed after reading other reviews. I signed my policy documents on April 11, 2025 and paid $1038 down and set up autopay for the remaining installments. Policy was effective on April 16, 2025. On my account, it showed that an inspection would have to be completed. No problem since there are no issues with my home. On May 1, 2025, another payment of $349 was withdrawn from my account. Still no inspection. On May 12, I get a call from an inspector…THIRTY DAYS LATER! He says he’s inspecting my house. Fine. The next day I get a notification on my account telling me that issues were found and that “roof needs replacement or cancellation will occur.” That’s a load of crap since the roof was replaced less than 10 years ago. (It seems this is common if you read the other reviews.) Naturally, I told them to cancel because there was no way we were dishing out money for a new roof when we KNOW there is nothing wrong with it. The house was just appraised in December of 2023 and even she asked if we had just replaced the roof because it looked great. So…back to the point, I asked when I would receive my money back because it wasn’t MY fault that they waited so long to have the inspection done and wouldn’t cover me until it was completed, but still took my money. I was told I’d only be getting a refund of $1004 (I paid $1387 total). So it seems I’ll be screwed out of almost $400 because I can’t get anyone except Live Chat and they are useless. Heed my warning…if you’re considering this company, tell them to come do the inspection first before you give them any more because they will take advantage of you too.
