If you are considering hiring this company for workers comp or any insurance I would highly suggest going a different direction. I had this company for almost 3 years and not once ever missed a payment of any kind. They decided to drop me because of one minor claim that was filled. Then over 6 months after they dropped me they decided to do two workers comp audits back to back for previous years. They sent an email saying I owed them the difference and they would just take it out of my account since they are in the business of saving there customers personal information even when your no longer their customer. I called them and they reassured me it’s just an automated email and they would not be taking the money out of my account since they stated they do not have my information anymore since I’m not there customer. A few days later they committed fraud against me. However I still was the one calling them trying to settle the debit they claimed I owed. I explained how I do not have that kinda money laying around and would truly hurt my business and tried to work with them yet they were not willing to respond or work with me even after I had been a great customer over the years. They then decided to hire a debt company instead of working with me. The debt collector and Next insurance both decided to discuss my debt with a third party without my knowledge and consent. They then Decided to except a payment from a third party with out my knowledge and consent. Once next insurance and the debt collector they hired found out I filled a complaint with the CFPB they closed the case on the debt collectors end gave it back to Next and they hired a law firm to contact me. They new what they did was wrong and decided to move it to a different desk to prevent from being held accountable for there actions. They clearly are out to hurt their long time customers business and they lie nonstop. If they ever say they will call you back it definitely won’t happen. I have friends who are canceling with this company after they see what they have done to me especially after I was nothing but a great customer. I hope this review is helpful and saves other people the headaches from dealing with this shady dishonest company .

At this time, we could not hire any company or contractor that presented us with a certificate of insurance (COI) from Next Insurance (Palo Alto, CA). In August 2024, we hired a deck contractor who presented us with a COI from them. The contractor quit before completing the job, so we asked other contractors to give us estimates to finish. To our surprise, all of them said the substructure was faulty and would need to be rebuilt. A licensed structural engineer examined the deck and agreed. We provided these details to Next Insurance and they denied our claim. Currently, the matter remains unresolved.

The customer service is terrible. I recently moved my business from one state to another. The new state is nearly 50% more for the same coverage that I had. I tried to ask customer service why that was, but I never got a response. I'm currently looking for other insurance providers
