Reviews Summary

Feedback for Fidelity Warranty Services and similar auto warranty providers is highly polarized. Several customers report extremely negative encounters, particularly around claim denials, slow approvals, communication hurdles, and a perception of evasiveness or lack of transparency regarding covered repairs. A few reviewers express feeling that staff were unhelpful or even rude, and highlight process inefficiencies, such as required phone-only claims and lengthy hold times.

At the same time, some customers indicate that their warranty was honored, repairs were covered, and a few even mention quick or friendly service from specific representatives. Positive mentions include ease of approved repairs, especially for major claims, and having helpful staff coordinate with repair facilities. However, even moderately satisfied reviewers often comment that the claims process is cumbersome or unnecessarily slow, suggesting service quality may be inconsistent.

Overall, Fidelity Warranty Services and similar auto warranty providers have a mixed reputation, with considerable variability in customer satisfaction. While some customers in the automotive market find value in their warranty contracts, recurring issues with communication, responsiveness, and claims processing in the U.S. market reduce overall trust and highlight areas needing improvement.

UPDATE: a different manager got back to me, definitely apologized to me (obviously due to the review) he did tell me I had to email for my diagnosis and the analysis from the inspector, which I did and they sent something encrypted and I did ask if they could resend it to where I could actually view the file still nothing. He did mention that the inspector seen melted parts on the engine and that’s why they require the breakdown. I showed up to the dealership unannounced to see my vehicle. Funny there aren’t melted parts at all and how would they see melted parts if the engine wasn’t tore down!? What I did see what the dealership broke my radiator cap. How was the proper diagnostic test ran? Needless to say this company hires SCAM ARTISTS! Not even worth one star!! I am having issues with my vehicle. I’ve got the diagnostic test from the mechanic Fidelity told me I had to go to, they sent their inspector out to review the findings. Needless to say this is something covered in the warranty but they are trying to get out of it. I’ve called expressed my frustrations tried to figure things out. I talked to the MANAGER ROB who is extremely rude. I asked for copies of the inspection report and all information from the dealership. I was informed if I wanted this information I need to have a lawyer submit a written document. I called later that day requesting a manager I was told I could talk to Rob the one I spoke to in the morning. I told them I’d like to speak to someone else. I was told no I had to talk to Rob or again send a request through email to talk to someone higher. Totally unprofessional would never recommend using this company!

I’m giving this warranty plan 4 stars because, while the coverage itself ended up being a big win, the process to actually use it was a pain. Starting a claim and staying in contact with the company is frustrating—everything has to be done over the phone. No email, no portal, no texting—just phone calls. And not quick ones either. You or your repair shop will be on hold for 30+ minutes most of the time, which really annoys service advisors and slows everything down. That said, the warranty did work when I needed it most. They sent an inspector out to my dealership, and my claim for a transmission replacement and motor mount (over $10,000 in repairs) was approved. I only had to pay my $100 deductible, which made the whole ordeal worth it in the end. A word of caution—make sure you keep up with your car’s recommended maintenance and keep your records. They asked for proof that I’d had my transmission fluid changed, and if I didn’t have that, they would’ve denied my claim. No joke. I paid $1,200 for the lifetime warranty when I bought my car. Overall, I’m satisfied with the value, but be prepared for a headache when it comes time to file a claim.

Updated 5 Stars This is the second time this warranty has come through for me, and I’m really impressed. I’ve heard horror stories about other car warranties, but this one has helped me with issues on my car both times I needed it. The process was faster this time. Worth it! Giving 4 stars because, in the end, it was worth it. However, the process took much longer than expected. The dealership kept saying they were waiting on my warranty company to respond. I was told I could choose my own repair shop, but I wonder if things would’ve moved faster had I gone with one of their preferred locations [I really don't know if they have a network of preferred shops].
