DO NOT USE!!!!!! If you have photography insurance with Ripe, Davies is the partner of Ripe Photography Insurance (which we are now cancelling). This company is a scam, worst customer service and nearly impossible to get a hold of them or get a response. I had 2 cameras that were broken and they told me that there is no 3rd party servicer they partner with that we could send it to for an estimate/repairs and would need to find our own servicer in London. After not being able to find anyone to service our cameras, I managed to get a hold of Davies and the rep told me they actually did have a 3rd party servicer. By this point, I was in a rush to get these fixed and ended up finding an external 3rd party to try and sort it faster. After giving them the information for the estimate, it took them 11 days to get back to me (when they claim they aim to reply within 3 days). It's taken over a month to get this sorted, with many back and forths as they are super difficult to get ahold of (20 min waiting times on the phone). On top of this, because we didn't have our receipts we were not fully covered and only got 67% of the payment needed for the repairs. We also needed to pay for the entire year of your policy coverage upfront to get the payout. On top of this, they are very unorganised as I had to ask them 5 times to update our address (as each time they asked me for security verification it was wrong).

be aware you will not receive any amount of refund if you need to cancel your policy, sold vehicle 6months in to a policy no refund, and no way of forwarding me my proof of no claims. I'm purchasing another motorhome very soon ,will I be using Ripe? 100% NOT

This insurance company provided me with a very cheap quote. Sounded too good to be true. When I decided to proceed it asked me to call their customer services team to finalise. Customer services didn't seem bothered so just referred me back to the online system, even though I couldn't proceed online. They don't seem to have a clue or they just don't give a damn. Reading other reviews now, I'm glad I didn't get to proceed with this company.
