Avoid this company. I paid the premiums and the annual additional surcharges as billed for several years. (the surcharges that eventually get eliminated by being a long term Pure subscriber) I had a roof/chimney claim and Pure demanded engineering reports and information that was not industry standard. One expert was hired by Pure to review the issue but the leakage could not be determined by roofing or masonry investigation without dismantling the roof structure and the chimney. I asked for additional time to find an expert and did not receive any communication from Pure regarding the problem. No communication from Pure....just a cancellation notice giving me 30 days to find a new underwriter...from the date of the notice. That equated to 16 business days to find a new vendor. Pure hell. Steer clear!

We have been with Pure for six years. We were initially optimistic about PURE Insurance and even referred friends to them, believing they would stand by their customers. Unfortunately, our experience has been nothing short of disappointing. PURE denied a valid claim after a contractor excavated our slope and caused extensive damage to our trees, vegetation, and private retaining walls. Instead of accepting responsibility, PURE falsely labeled the situation as "earth movement" — a clear misrepresentation of the facts — to wrongfully deny coverage. At the same time, PURE has imposed massive premium increases. Last year, they raised our premium by nearly 30%. Half year through this year, they raised it by additional 35%, after an inflated home appraisal they arranged themselves. These actions show a clear pattern: PURE looks for excuses to deny claims while aggressively inflating premiums.

Update: The company mentioned that they looked in to our claim and they concluded everything was done properly. If that was the case, they would absolutely find out about the inaccuracy of the third party reports. Unfortunately, they are pretending to care when in actuality they could not care less. Original Review: We have been a Pure member since 2015 and did not file any claims until last May due to a hail storm. The way they handled our claim was on par with the worst in the industry. They sent out third party inspectors whose only goal is to minimize the obvious damage or pretend like it does not exist so that Pure can deny the claim. Both the Seek Now and "engineer" reports failed to include photos of the damage to our roof and other exterior components. I disputed the reports by submitting photos of the damage, but Pure decided to make their decision on inaccurate reports. Awful experience.
