Not a nice experience after I tried to insure a old 2nd hand car 1000 pounds . I found another well known company for less than half . I cancelled my 1st car with peter best . 75 cancellation fee On the Web its says 55 however after several letters they sent me the policy. Slightly different to what is shown on the Internet. IF YOUR POLICY IS LESS THAN 300 ...THEN ITS £55 . MORE THAN 300 THEN ITS £75. NO MORE WITH PETER BEST

I took a policy out with them with my motorbike in the idea that I’d be able to add another motorbike to the policy when I bought one, their website says “At Peter Best Insurance we pride ourselves, not only on offering great prices, but also at our ability to insure a wide range of motorcycles, including classic motorcycles and modified motorcycles. We offer multi bike policies too.” They don’t offer multi bike policy’s on anything other than classic motorbikes, pretty misleading and cost me £140 for two weeks of insurance as I had to cancel and go elsewhere

After 10 years of being a customer they took 2/3rds of the premium when I sold the car after 2 months of the cover period. They also debited my account without my consent whilst I was away on holiday. There must be better companies out there.
