I recently bought a VW transporter van with momentum warranty. I hadn’t even got all the way home in the van when the engine management light came on so I contacted Momentum warranty went through the app got told to book it in with the van to have the fault diagnosed. It came up with an EGR failure the garage then rung the warranty company who then refused to pay for the work doing. I have pictures of the failed part. The van is now repaired which cost me 1500 after momentum warranty refuse to pay it personally I don’t think the warranty is worth the paper it’s written on.

Had an issue with my car making an awful grinding noise — turned out to be the wheel bearing. Wasn’t totally sure if it’d be covered, but called Momentum and spoke to someone straight away. Really helpful on the phone, explained what was needed and got the garage sorted for me within the day. The whole claim was pretty straightforward, didn’t get the usual runaround I’ve had with other warranty companies. They even kept me updated which I honestly wasn’t expecting. Massive thanks to Eilidh who handled the claim — made everything way less stressful. Polite, patient, and actually knew what she was talking about. Whole thing was paid out in a couple of days and I’m back on the road. Would definitely recommend if you want peace of mind with an older motor. Cheers

Don't expect this warranty company to ever honour their agreement with you. They don't follow through, they mess you about, they don't pay, and then you're landed with the bill. Never trust what their terms say in the level of warranty you have, and don't expect to ever get through to them. When you ask for a callback, they won't do it, and when you try and get through, expect to sit on hold for a long long time. This company is a complete scam. My case: My warranty covered Air Conditioning. The compressor died, they told the garage they'd do it, then decided they wouldn't bother. I was lumbered with a £800 bill out of the blue from the garage. Absolute disgrace, never called me, never updated me, just refused and blanked every attempt to contact them. Tempted to sue them in all honesty.
