Reviews Summary

Customer sentiment for Many Pets pet insurance is predominantly negative with only a few positive experiences reported. Reviewers consistently note significant dissatisfaction with claims handling, long wait times, unresponsive customer service, and unpredictably rising premiums. While isolated feedback highlights efficient processing in some cases, the majority express frustration with communication gaps and perceived lack of transparency, including unresolved complaints and inconsistent claims decisions.

Common feedback includes delays in claims assessment, repeated requests for documentation, and slow or non-existent responses to customer complaints. Customers across the UK mention finding the online account management system unreliable and confusing. Additionally, inconsistent pricing and unexplained premium increases are cited as pain points, with some feeling penalized despite similar pet profiles elsewhere. There are recurring frustrations about being asked to provide information multiple times and challenges tracking the status of pending claims.

Overall, Many Pets’ reputation as a pet insurance provider in the UK appears to be poor based on recent reviews. Trust is undermined by customer service practices, lengthy claim processing, and a lack of clear communication. Repeated negative experiences, complaint handling failures, and unclear pricing practices are frequent themes, raising concerns for those seeking reliable pet insurance coverage.

I've been a loyal customer for several years, and then they nearly doubled my renewal price for no reason. Yet his sister's owner (same litter and medical history) down the road, who also has a many pet insurance policy with the same level of cover, less excess and same copay, is paying half what I'm paying for and she has two dogs on the policy! When I contacted support, it took ages to get through, and they were completely useless. They had no idea why there was this price difference and were also not willing to do anything about it. They basically told me, "This is the price, or you can leave."

I couldn’t speak more highly of Many Pets. My sproker Max has been with them for a few years now and every time we have had to make a claim it has been the most straightforward efficient process. I made a claim this Saturday afternoon for £400 and within 2 hours the claim had been processed and the refund was in my bank! They answer the phone instantly when you have any queries and are always very friendly. I love the fact that you pay the excess once a year rather than for each condition and although the renewal price goes up you can call them to organise a better price. I highly recommend them if you want to have peace of mind when insuring your pets :)

This is probably the worst company I have ever dealt with. AVOID this company at all costs is my advice. We pay over £40 per month for a mixed bread 2 year old dog. That’s a premium for a mixed breed and young dog. In my opinion the reason they have a fairly positive rating is that they pay out small claims quickly (we had 2 @£150 paid out within 36 hours) however they have delayed for nearly 2 months with regards dental treatment all of which is meant to be covered by our policy and cost us £700. They have queried our dogs breed (Podenco- a street dog all of which are mixed breed), whether she was spayed and now the date of treatment as we submitted the date of the claim rather than treatment. They would have flipped this delaying tactic had we submitted the other way round. They have had a full medical history from our vets multiple times. If you are considering using this company do your homework properly and look at the financial losses the company is making and read the 1 star review. Don’t get swayed by access to a vet 24/7. It is a great feature but you will need to see a vet in person one if your pet is really poorly and you can’t rely on Many Pets to cover your pets bills. When we explained we didn’t have money to cover the credit card bill - we were marked as vulnerable it has made not a jot of difference. I genuinely feel that the insurance cover we have is not worth anything- that makes me feel sick that my pet has effectively not been insured and is not currently insured. We have had a complaint pending for weeks and nobody has yet reached out despite us being identified as vulnerable customers.
