A very good company to deal with if things go wrong. My motorcycle was stolen. Lexham and their underwriters Marble Arch were a pleasure to deal with. I was apprehensive because insurance companies have a reputation for finding a way out of paying. Not here! I followed their procedure and in just over 3 weeks I had the cash to buy a new motorcycle. It didn't end here - they insured my new motorcycle without a hefty premium penalty. i was concerned about this as I lost my NCD. Only downer... getting through to a human is an epic event. Perhaps they are a victim of their own success? On average I would say I was waiting 30 - 40 min each time. But when I got through to Marble Arch, it was much quicker. Else for day to day things the online is excellent. Very happy with Lexham

I had a Third Party Fire and Theft policy with Lexham Insurance. My motorbike was stolen, and I followed all the proper steps — filed a police report, informed the insurance company, and submitted all the required documents. After everything, they declined my claim, saying I didn’t use a “D-lock” or additional security. But when I bought the policy, this requirement wasn’t clearly explained, and I had no idea that not having an extra lock would completely void my claim. My bike was securely parked with the built-in steering lock, like many riders use. This was extremely frustrating. You pay for insurance thinking you’re protected, but when something actually happens, they find a way to avoid paying. The entire process was slow, and I felt like they cared more about finding reasons to reject the claim than helping a genuine customer. I would not recommend Lexham to anyone looking for peace of mind. If you’re thinking about getting insurance from them, please read all the small print carefully — because even if you do everything right, they may still refuse to help.

Absolutely the worst insurance company of all time, do not ever use them as you will be scammed out of your money and not be able to get insurance elsewhere because they falsely claim you ‘missed a payment’. Insane hold times on the phone (2+ hours) which they also charge for. The hundreds of 1 star reviews speak for themselves and I sincerely hope this saves at least one poor customer from using this awful scam of a company.
