Been trying to put in a claim. Process of getting through long and drawn out. When I did get through it cut off (30 minutes wasted). To their credit I got a call back which I missed, so when o called back again I had to go through the same rigmarole. I finally got in the queue and was on hold for 20 minutes (number one in the queue throughout). In the end after missing several work related calls while on hold I hung up and I’ve still not managed to log my claim. I’ll wait until I have a spare hour or two. Typical of these kind of companies where it’s option option option, then you give your details, then they put you through to claims, then you go back to option option option then you get cut off. Oh for businesses where someone (preferably human) answers and you can speak to them about things. Would I recommend, no, but the reasons are indicative of pretty much every business where you have to sit on hold forever. Marginally better than UK banks.

Professional and helpful. Will try to get you a better deal. I have several rental properties that were insured in a portfolio policy. My agent found a way to reduce my insurance costs by insuring each property individually. It took time but we effectively halved the cost. She spent time with me, was helpful and knowledgeable. I think some of these other reviews you may see with bad reports apply to letting agents. They don’t apply to Homelet. I have been with Homelet for over 20 years and never had a bad experience. My loyalty has been respected and appreciated and they have always been a good company. I used to deal with the same agent until she retired and she had worked for them for many years. As a former business director I understand that low staff turnover is achieved when employees work in a good organisation. Happy to use Homelet.
