I cannot thank Holidayrisk enough for their help. My wife had to fly overseas at short notice to visit a family member who had been taken ill and admitted to hospital whilst on holiday. We did not know how long the trip would be for but as time passed it was clear that the trip would/could exceed the 31 day duration limit. I contacted Holidayrisk and explained the position. I received a telephone call back from a customer service representative. This gentleman was courteous, helpful and extremely understanding and we were given the news that the underwriters had agreed to extend the trip duration limit in increments so as to allow my wife to remain at the bedside of her relative without the worry of the travel insurance becoming invalid. I cannot describe the relief this brought and we are very grateful for their understanding of the position.
