I missed the renewal date for my car insurance, and on the very last day, I contacted them—Emma was absolutely amazing! She sorted everything out quickly, and my policy was renewed without any issues. I've been with them for about 3 years now, and they've always provided excellent service. Highly recommended!

Hi I was a bit annoyed that it cost me £50 to change the address on my car insurance policy but the young lady who served me on the phone was incredibly friendly and efficient which made it slightly less painful. Good service can always defuse a situation so well done to the member of staff who handled my request, sorry I can’t remember her name.

I would advise anyone considering Grove & Dean Insurance to read the terms and conditions very carefully before committing. My experience was disappointing when I tried to change my vehicle before the end of my policy. I was quoted a £40 & £50 admin fee = £90 for changing vehicle for less than 4 months. When I searched for a new policy for my replacement vehicle, I found same insurer, different broker could insure me for £277 for the year—so there was no increase in premium, actually £80 cheaper. When I enquired about cancelling my policy instead, I was told I would receive £72 back from the insurance company, but this would be taken as a cancellation fee of £75, meaning I would effectively get nothing back. The response I received was polite, but I was simply told that these terms were included when I joined. There was no attempt to review or discuss other options. So I made that decision to go elsewhere and cancel. In my opinion, an insurance broker should support customers when they need to make changes or claims, not make the process more difficult or expensive. I understand that businesses need to make a profit, but I felt the fees, didn't represent value, excessive and left me feeling taken advantage of. You may have made £72 but could have made a lot more over time with loyalty & service. Based on my experience, I have chosen to move to another provider and would encourage others to consider their options carefully before using Grove & Dean.
