DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY. I have experienced untold grief directly through their negligence and will be factual in the details I provide. Work was carried out in 2018 to raise a concrete floor slab. After a few years in 2021, I noticed the issues returning and from then the loss adjuster had been making attempts for Geobear to investigate. In May 2023 they agreed to undertake DPT testing of the ground below the slab. This was carried out in July 2023 whereupon Geobear accepted the issue was due to the work they carried out. Geobear who agreed to redo the works as it was due to a failure on their part. They were advised that facilitation works would be required and also reinstatement thereafter. At this point Geobear advised that they would not fund any additional works (bizarrely even though those works are a direct consequence of their failure). In August 2024 Coniston Associates, were instructed by Geobear to pay £15,000 from an initial £4000 offer for reinstatement costs. This work was going to be in the region of £35,000. Work was due to begin, however in December 2024 the claim was moved to another loss adjuster. To date no work has started and Geobear I believe reneged their previous offer and have refused to carry out remedial work despite legal efforts from two loss adjusters. Seven years of stress, grief and problems and still not over. Do not believe their Customer Promise as they don't do any of it. Utterly contemptuous company and have given them the opportunity to make good but have an obligation to tell others and warn them of their behaviour.

This is a long time overdue review. I had Geobear come out to investigate and begin work on a subsidence issue at my property, and I’ve been thoroughly impressed with their service from start to finish. They responded quickly to my enquiry, arranged an investigation without delay, and provided me with a clear, detailed explanation of the problem along with the proposed solution. Even though I was only able to proceed with part of the recommended work due to financial constraints, the team was incredibly understanding and still carried out the work professionally and efficiently. The results so far have been very reassuring, and the experience has given me complete confidence in their approach. I fully intend to have Geobear back to complete the rest of the repairs when I’m in a position to do so. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend them to anyone dealing with subsidence – they are knowledgeable, honest, and truly care about doing the job right.

Operatives were friendly, polite, respectful. The work went smoothly & quickly. All appears to be successful but there is nothing above ground to look at. Noticed that some internal doors that had been sticking now open freely.
