The quality of the carpet is good. However there is a major issue and people need to be careful when buying the carpet and grippers from Floor street. I have had a professional install the carpet along with the gripper, both which I had bought from the floor street by the recommendation of their own staff. However upon installation the gripper nail had gone through the carpet causing injury to me and my family which we had to go to a&e for. I’ve complained to Floor street who have taken no accountability for this. Instead apparently it’s my fault and the installation process was incorrect. To make things funnier, they then sent a YouTube video of how the carpet should be installed, which my carpenter had done and followed and then Floor street back tracked by saying there’s a ‘specific’ method to install eventhough this isn’t mentioned or shown in any of their videos. Bare in mind Floor street had given me the carpet and grippers, with their own recommendation, and no one thought to tell me there’s a ‘specific’ installation method, which isn’t said or shown anywhere on their website or YouTube videos. I’ve asked for a resolution but was told no and made to seem like this whole thing is my fault, even though this is Floor street carpet, floor street gripper, floor street underlay recommendation, floor street YouTube video which was followed and floor street staff advice. My whole carpet and stair runner was ruined as I had to take it off due to health and safety concerns.

Recently had our entire downstairs supplied by floor street. After endless debating and a very patient and helpful team member (Khalid) to answer my questions - we finally settled on Buri/sahara oak straight plank SPC! It looks wonderful so far. Floor street also recommended an excellent fitter (Farshad) who went above and beyond to really make it look seamless! I can’t wait to have the skirting complete and try out the floor with our UFH! Great service all round!

Where do I start!!! from going into the shop to fitting, we had the most seamless experience and the outcome is just so much better then I ever anticipated! The team helped me pick my carpet, underlay and stair runner and nothing was too much - being indecisive made this a lot harder but they had so much patience and helped me put together my dream colours! I’m so happy with my carpets and stair runner and they have been the cherry on top of a very long renovation! So so happy and would return again, and have already recommended to many friends and family 🩷
