I asked for help to get a connection for a projector to my MAC. I was given a 800 number that asked me if I dropped off my computer. I don't need my computer fixed. I returned to geek squad desk in Best Buy and the clerk told me to call 800 number again

They give you an appointment at 11:20 and you wait there for minutes. It's almost 12 o'clock. And no one is looking, all they do is take names and put places in the queue.

I want to give my utmost thanks to "Yash" at the Geek Squad for helping me out yesterday. Due to a very sudden death in my family, I needed my computer desperately. I went to use it and the battery was dead, I did not know if it was the battery or the cord. I did not know you needed an appointment to be seen, but "Yash" listened to why I needed to know this info so quickly and agreed to look. It turned out it was a simple piece in the cord so it wasn't charging. He was kind enough to go get it himself for me, and encouraged me to please plug it in there at the store and see if it was working correctly before I left. There was a very nice area with tables, chairs and outlets so I could do this. It was exactly what was wrong. I would have given 5 stars, but the price was awful high for just a small piece, and if I did not have a dead-line to adhere to I could have spent time shopping around. Thank you for your understanding of my situation and helping me out.
