This is some text inside of a div block.
Stayed 4 nights for a dance competition in the Fox Tower. The best part of this trip was the distance from the Tower and the convention area. We were able to leave snacks, drinks, etc in the room and easily go back and forth. We were on the 23rd floor but the elevators were fast and readily available. Other than the vicinity between the tower and the convention center, the parking is free and easy to get to. However, the resort is NOT kid friendly. The indoor pool is only open til 1 or 2 pm and then its adults only afterward. The outdoor pool is open from 8 to 8 but if it starts to rain or thunderstorm they close it and then you're SOL for pool time. Food options near the tower are not good. If we wanted something quick to eat, we would have to find something in the outlets or walk to the Pequot Tower. The check in was fast however the agent was quick to move on to the next guest, we had no info about the amenities or where the ice machines were. We were given the room key and that's all. I did find that they showcased all the amenities and restaurants via the TV channels in the room. I recommend staying here if you're here for the casino obviously or if you are here for a dance competition or convention event and need the convenience of being close. Other than that, save the money and book nearby, its cheaper and you might have free breakfast.

We were pleasantly surprised by the scale and cleanliness at Foxwoods! We also went to the Great Wolf Lodge Waterpark with friends and having that next to the Casino is a big perk. The casino itself was great! Free drinks while gambling is alive and well. Many many slot machines, tables, and more. I will be back soon… especially since I left in the green 🤑

We are regular visitors to Foxwoods. I like the table card games and my wife likes the shops and restaurants. Our friends and family like the slots and cards. We are handicapped, and park on the level 1 handicapped parking area at the main casino. This area is frequented by smokers which makes sense because it is the closest place to smoke outside the casino. There is often a strong cigarette smoke smell which is understandable, but lately it has been disgustingly dirty. The strong smell of urine permeates the garage which is especially bad during humid weather. There is litter throughout the parking area. Lately we have noticed that inside the casino, the carpet is littered also. The floors in the shopping area sometimes have sticky spills. The escalator is very very loud also. We always found it to be very clean at Foxwoods, we prefer it to Mohegan Sun, and wonder if something has changed with personnel. The employees have always been so friendly and kind and the cleaning workers showed pride in their work.

Reviews Summary

The overall sentiment regarding Foxwoods Resort Casino is generally mixed, with distinct positive and negative trends. Reviewers frequently mention the convenience and facilities offered by the resort, such as proximity to the casino and convention center, efficient elevators, and available parking. However, there are repeated concerns regarding the cleanliness of certain areas, limited family-friendly amenities, and inconsistent customer service, especially during check-in or when reporting problems with rooms.

The most common themes emerging from customer reviews are the variety of gaming and entertainment options, satisfaction with dining offerings, and friendliness of many staff members, especially at the bars and casino floors. Some visitors return regularly and highlight specific positive experiences with hosts and managers, such as Kevin at the Fox Tower. On the other hand, guests repeatedly cite isolated housekeeping and maintenance issues, slow bar service, and disappointing food selection near some towers.

Overall, Foxwoods Resort Casino is considered a reputable choice for casino enthusiasts and frequent visitors in the northeast region. Its array of activities, accommodating staff, and flexible gaming options stand out, but prospective guests should be aware of mixed experiences in cleanliness and family-friendliness. The venue maintains a loyal customer base but leaves room for improvement in operational consistency.
