PLEASE AVOID - Especially if you have poor mental health, or single parent etc. it’s not worth the hassle and stress this company causes! I’ve had an awful experience with Dial Direct. My premium suddenly went up from £70 to £150 because of a claim from my previous insurer — but the claim was cancelled, nothing was repaired, and no payment was made. I explained this to them and sent multiple emails with proof, but they kept saying they didn’t receive anything. Every time I called, I struggled to get proper support. One agent even terminated the call mid-conversation. I’ve tried everything to sort it, but they ignored me and are now cancelling my insurance. I’m a single parent, unemployed, and dealing with mental health challenges — this has left me overdrawn and incredibly stressed. No support, no fairness, no accountability. If you’re vulnerable or need help, they will not help you — they just want your money. I’m now going through the Financial Ombudsman and warning others to be careful.

At starter I was fine. Great company, service. But then I move to new property and just wanted update my details. End up they force me to close my insurance as they could not update my details. Long story short...they force me to close insurance and finde other company and same time they gave me 10 days . After 10 days they said they will automatically cancel my insurance. I did what they said even if that was not my choice but end up I get charged cancellation fee and also insurance for nearly 2 weeks as they actually did not cancelled my existing insurance. I'm absolutely gutted and angry.....I should not be paying cancellation fee and insurance for these two weeks as it's not my fault at all. Never had such a bad experience.

AVIOD!!! Lures you in with a good price and within 2 months cancels your policy for no reason making your insurance quotes go up as they were the ones who cancelled and having to find insurance quotes that are triple the price for the day after as dial direct cancelled. No heads up they were going to cancel, received an email at 4am stating the policy was cancelled. Good thing I checked my emails in the morning otherwise I would have been driving around without insurance!! Following all of that I had called them up and had asked for a letter stating what I owed and it’s been a week since then and they have failed to do this. Customer service is awful. Absolutely awful and stay away!
