If I could give 0 stars I would, tried to claim on my insurance which they took over 6 months to deal with and didn’t receive one phone call except to pay more money for an upgraded account when they didn’t do anything with the standard account. When I refused to pay for the upgraded account they cancelled my account in total and refused my customer her pay out. Please stay away from this company worst decision I made was to trust this company. Also the supporting company that use these guys which are simply business are awful and wouldn’t trust please do not use either one of these company’s they drag the claims out to the point where they demand more money then just cancel your contract without paying

⭐ One star – very disappointing experience. Tried to make a straightforward claim for a routine issue, but Covea dragged the process out unnecessarily. They kept asking for irrelevant information that had nothing to do with the actual treatment. It felt like they were looking for excuses not to pay, rather than helping a loyal customer. Their approach was unprofessional, frustrating, and made me feel like I was being interrogated rather than supported. This was over a very small claim – not some huge amount – yet they turned it into a stressful, time-wasting ordeal. Would not recommend based on this experience. Answer to your response: Thanks, but I won’t be emailing privately – everything that needed to be said is in my review. You don’t need more details, you need to take responsibility. My experience, along with many other similar negative reviews, should be more than enough for your company to finally reflect and change how you treat your customers.

Really slow turnaround for claims, I have pet claims outstanding that are almost 6 months old. I have complained via the correct channels and was assured a 1 working day wait for a reply, it's now been a week and I've heard from no one. To add to this Puffin Insurance had a simple web portal for submitting claims, now they are using Covea which instead requires filling in an antiquated PDF document where I have to chase my vet which wasn't the case with the old Puffin system. It now adds 4 steps when there used to be just 1. Avoid at all costs, I will be moving from my pet insurance provider (Puffin Insurance) who use Covia due to how poor the service is.
