I recently reached out to Bamboo Insurance for a quote, expecting a straightforward and professional interaction. Unfortunately, my experience was anything but that. The representative I spoke with seemed inattentive from the start, asking me the same questions multiple times, including what vehicle I was looking to insure. When he repeated the question, I politely reminded him that I had already provided that information. My tone remained calm and respectful throughout the conversation - I neither raised my voice nor expressed frustration. To my surprise, the representative suddenly accused me of being rude, raised his own voice, and then abruptly hung up. I was left completely stunned. Did that really just happen? As a potential customer simply inquiring about insurance, I expected professionalism, patience, and courtesy - none of which I received. Instead, I encountered an entitled attitude and a complete lack of customer service. If this is how Bamboo Insurance treats prospective clients, I can only imagine what their service would be like once a policy is in place. I hope others take experiences like this into account when deciding on an insurance provider. A company that treats customers with disrespect before even earning their business is not one I would trust with my coverage.
