The hotel itself is beautiful. My family stayed there 2 years ago. Beautiful pool, close proximity to many places. We tried to book a suite for this upcoming April and it has been a NIGHTMARE. I have spent many hours calling every number the next person gives me and NOTHING. Central reservations says there are multiple suites available but they are “hotel protected” and the front desk needs to book them. Call the front desk to be transferred back to central reservations. Call back the front desk for them to say they do not book reservations. I ask “who can I talk to then?” They have no clue so they tell me they will transfer me to the manager but he or she is in a meeting so I left a voicemail and sent an email and shocking, no one responded. I then called again and was given another number but that gentleman although very nice said he only books large groups and works remote and gave me another number to call that “for sure would help me that day”. Called multiple times and left a voicemail and again, NO RESPONSE. Absolutely horrible customer service. You would think they would be happy to be renting one of their expensive suites but I guess they do not care. Extremely disappointed as we always stay at Marriott properties but may have to change that in the future.

Booked a room here because my son wanted to go swimming and they were one of the few hotels listed with a heated indoor pool for Georgia’s crazy winter weather. I’m not sure about the other reviews saying the hotel is showing its age and the horrible check in process because I didn’t experience any of that! I booked a King room with city line view and ended up getting a free upgrade. My early check in was granted and upon entering the room was spotless and the view was spectacular. I ended up getting Valet parking which is $60 a day. Again, not sure why people complained about the valet process as it was errorless for me. Both valet gentlemen that assisted me were super polite and even unloaded and loaded our stuff. My only con is the app was not working for me to order room service so I had to call down to in room dining. I did have to call 4-5 times (on a Saturday night so I expected it to be busy) but I eventually got through and once through my order only took about 25 mins to get to my room. From check in to check out all of the employees were super helpful, courteous, and most importantly pleasant. When your hauling around a 5 year old, things can get pretty hectic so I especially appreciate the employees that stopped to answer my questions even when they seemed busy 🧡. Would definitely stay again and recommend to any family looking for a local getaway! Rooms: Room was spotless and included extra toiletries as requested on the app. Nearby activities: 6 mins away from Georgia Aquarium
