I had broken down on a Sunday night, on a busy dual carriageway. Thankfully was able to get to a parking bay area. I had called 2gether Insurance recovery with the hopes to get a call out. I had rang for an hour but there was no answer, to this point the call was draining my battery on my mobile and so I then had to call the SOS line at the side of the road. They were really helpful and too tried to call them. After a couple of attempts made by them, they rang me back and said that the number they have is for weekdays only and believe they don’t operate Sundays. I truly believe that this is the case for the amount of time it took to try to reach out. I would not recommend this breakdown cover with the risk of being left stranded on a Sunday night. It’s a cheap breakdown cover found on a comparison site, but goes to show that with cheap you don’t pay for a quality service. To cut the long and painful experience I had that Sunday night, short, my partner came out to me and was able to identify that my turbo hose clamp was missing. We were able to then zip tie it back and I was safely able to get home. I shall not even bother contacting them again and I’m going to look for a new cover with better reviews and service.

I bought car breakdown from 2Gether last week online and three days later hadn't received the policy documents. On checking their website, I found they actually had a phone number to call. I only waited a couple of minutes to be connected, (to a real person!) who checked my details and immediately sent the documents to my email, waiting to make sure they'd arrived safely. Although the documents must have been lost in the system when I purchased the policy, I was very impressed by the efficiency of this company in sorting things out. Plus they also don't currently require policy holders to have an online account with them, so the human element continues! Good old-fashioned, human service.

I did not have to wait long and the mechanic who picked me up was very professional and most helpful. He took my car to the garage and even offered to take me home. i declined his offer as I liver around the corner from the garage. I highly recommend 2Gether Insurance and will be going with them when it is due.
