Reviews Summary

The overall sentiment about VIP Petcare and PetIQ’s mobile veterinary clinics is predominantly negative, with reviewers frequently citing frustrations around scheduling, communication, staff behavior, and billing practices. While a minority express satisfaction with the efficiency and friendliness of specific staff, most feedback raises serious concerns. Recurring issues include unclear cost structures, poor issue resolution, and—in two cases—distressing and inappropriate handling of animals, highlighting inconsistent experiences with the company’s mobile veterinary services.

The most common themes in the reviews are customer dissatisfaction with billing transparency, unexpected upselling, and subpar customer service. Reviewers mention experiences ranging from long wait times despite pre-registration to abrupt clinic closures and limited diagnostic capabilities. Negative sentiment often references insufficient attention to animal welfare and a perception of policies favoring revenue over patient care. Nonetheless, several customers note positive encounters with pricing for basic vaccinations or praise the convenience of walk-in mobile services when staff are helpful.

Overall, VIP Petcare and PetIQ face a challenging reputation among reviewers, with significant trust and reliability concerns expressed by pet owners across locations like Chelsea Farm and Home. Despite isolated praise for convenience and friendly staff, the prevailing tone centers on dissatisfaction and a desire for more professionalism and transparency. These reviews suggest prospective clients should carefully consider options and clarify services and fees in advance.

We signed up for this clinic at noon. The clinic wasn't until 4PM. We got there at 10 to 4. They said not to wait in line because we were already registered. We waited more than an hour watching people that registerd after they arrived get seen first. We never received the text saying it was our turn. It was complete caous from the minute we arrived. Not worth the headache! Won't be going back!

These people suck so bad i cannot stress enough. They act like their mission is to help pets but they dont give a shit about anything other than their bottom line. Show up late, leave early and tske money when they dont provide services .. do not let this scam of a company fool you. Take your money elsewhere. My god i cannot stress enough STAY AWAY FROM PET IQ

Took two dogs, 5 & 4 years olds, in to get shots updated. Got the first set of shot's and had to come back to get the booster shots. Paid $532 for them. The next group was going to be over $300. They don't offer the booster shots as a package. I wished they'd told me that when I got the first set of shot's. Now I have to go through it again while I save up for them. I'm a disabled veteran. I don't have alot of money to waste like that. $532 all for nothing is hard to swallow when you are on a fixed income. When people bring their animals in for shots and there are going to be boosters involved you should make them aware of the costs upfront!!!

About VIP Petcare

Vets
VIP Petcare and PetIQ offer mobile veterinary clinic services, providing basic pet health care such as vaccinations, heartworm testing, microchipping, and wellness checks. They operate mainly through partnerships with retail pet stores, serving cats and dogs with walk-in access or limited appointment bookings in temporary pop-up clinic formats.

The company conducts clinics inside pet retail locations at scheduled times, performing services without the need for permanent offices. Staff typically include veterinarians and veterinary assistants who administer vaccinations, draw blood, and offer preventative care. Documentation is updated on-site and records are made available online. Diagnostic capabilities are limited, and most clinics focus on routine preventative treatments.
