Vets Now Hospital Glasgow Reviews

I cannot thank the team at Vets Now in Glasgow enough for the incredible care they gave my 1 year old cat, Artemis, during a very stressful late-night visit last night. She had been unwell for a while, and when I noticed what looked like a blue tint at the back of her tongue, I feared the worst and phoned. From the moment I called, the nurse I spoke to — Emma — was calm, kind, and quick to act. She brought us in straight away, understanding it could be something serious. When we arrived, Artemis was taken in for triage immediately (literally), and within about 10 minutes they had identified and removed the culprit: a thin piece of green plastic poo bag (that I use emptying their boxes) somehow wrapped around the back of her tongue, somehow perfectly mimicking cyanosis. As soon as it was out, Artemis was instantly more herself, and I was overwhelmed with relief (and the realisation I need to be more careful around the house, thank god this went the way it did). Emma was truly WONDERFUL throughout — compassionate, professional, and genuinely happy for us when she delivered the good news. You could tell how much she cared, and it made such a difference in a moment of high anxiety. They handled everything so efficiently and kindly, and at no point did I feel like just another case (or too much of an idiot). They even managed to lift the added stress of financial worry, which is incredibly rare and appreciated more than I can say. I’ve had really difficult experiences with emergency vets in the past, but this was the complete opposite — it was a genuinely positive and reassuring experience from start to finish. Thank you again to Emma and the whole team for your amazing care and compassion. You made all the difference and last night we left on a high of relief with our wee girl.
