Sofitel Los Angeles At Beverly Hills Reviews

I have stayed twice while getting testing and a procedure done at Cedars Sinai. The hotel is within walking distance to the hospital. It is right next to the Beverly Center as well as walking distance to other restaurants and shops. The hotel is beautiful with very comfortable, quiet rooms. There is a nice bar with live music. We did not eat in the restaurant but did have drinks and appetizers at the bar which were very good. Valet is very efficient. Workout room is really good, especially for a hotel. Probably the best feature, however, is the staff. My wife informed the staff that we would be staying the day after I was released from the hospital after a heart procedure to recover before driving the 2 hours back home. Emily, the guest relations manager, went above and beyond to make sure we were given a room that would be quiet so I could rest without being disturbed. She gave us a "hospital rate" which we did not even know about. She was also very understanding about being flexible with our check-out since I did not know how I would be feeling. The front desk people were excellent as well. All in all a great stay and I would definitely stay there again when visiting the Beverly Hills area even if not going to the hospital. I can't say enough good things about this hotel and it's staff. Nearby activities: Beverly Hills attractions very close by. Melrose within walking distance. Beverly Center right across the street. Safety: Numerous staff in the lobby monitoring who is coming in and out. Need a room card to access your floor in the elevator.
