The application process was smooth, and they took the time to explain all the details, ensuring I felt confident every step of the way. What stood out most to me was their customer service. They were always available to answer my questions, and they made sure I understood all my options. I typically do not write reviews but this time I felt that it needed to be done!! I am a Realtor and this company was helping my client navigate her first time home purchase. 1. They told her that Grant money was not all that it was hyped up to be, and would not even help her in looking for some which most definitely was still available in our area. 2. They qualified her on only 1 year tax return and then instead of the usual 2 which then caused issues later on in the process. 3. Also two days before the first scheduled closing they asked that we request the seller to pay concessions towards the buyers closing. You don’t do that type of a request before closing. Those are done in the beginning stages of negotiating 4. They could not give her a solid number that she needed to bring to the closing until 3 hours after our scheduled closing time. 5. Even though they had verified her funds and knew she banked with Chime they had no experience with dealing with them to let her know that it would take days for her to get her Cash to close. In reviewing their fees and charges, I will say that those amounts were fair, but I do not know that they can justify the amount of stress and emotional roller coaster that they caused to all parties involved so I would absolutely not recommend this company.

I completely agree with other reviews in saying that Society Mortgage's customer service team is always helpful and readily available. Alfredo's quick responses and deep knowledge have been invaluable in addressing all my questions and concerns. His dedication, honesty, and personal involvement have made this process feel much less overwhelming, as he treats my experience with the utmost care and attention, as if it were his own. As a first-time buyer, Society Mortgage experienced team truly stands out in their commitment to providing the best service possible. I couldn't have asked for better assistance.
