Vanessa at Optimum First is very responsive and good at communicating the details and protocols of the lending process. She is an honest, hardworking loan officer, who worked into the evening and occasionally on weekends to make sure we got the best service. She was able to secure us a great rate for our loan during a hectic political week that saw rates going up. She advocated for me and my family to receive a rate that another lender I spoke with laughed at and thought we "must have got the best rate in America" for that day because there was such a significant upward swing that day and yet Vanessa and Optimum honored a fantastic rate before I even officially locked it in. She could have backed out and charged us more at that point, but she didnt. Without Vanessa, we wouldn't have been able to afford the monthly payments on our house and it would have gone to someone else. We're literally indebted to her kindness. Thank you Vanessa.

I recently closed on my home, and I’m incredibly thankful to have had Jonathan as my loan officer throughout the process. From the very beginning, Jonathan was professional, responsive, and incredibly knowledgeable. He made what could have been a stressful experience feel smooth and manageable. Jonathan took the time to explain every detail clearly, answered all my questions promptly, and ensured everything stayed on schedule for closing. I highly recommend Jonathan Cave to anyone in need of a dependable and trustworthy loan officer. He went above and beyond, and I couldn’t be happier with the service he provided. Getting a mortgage with Optimum with the help of Jon Cave was a great experience! He was very patient and thorough whenever there were questions. Had a few hiccups with the builder and negotiations, and Jon was there to explain to us the options with full transparency. Going to miss the long calls with him on the phone - and the cherry on top: Optimum offers great rates! Would not think twice before using them again.
