This is some text inside of a div block.
Zopa failed our family when we needed fairness and basic decency. We are a vulnerable household — with a disabled child and a father recently diagnosed with cancer — and Zopa treated us with cold indifference. After being sold a dangerous, faulty vehicle through their finance platform, we requested support under Section 75 of the Consumer Credit Act. Instead of helping, Zopa constantly shifted their position, ignored evidence, and pressured us with unfair deadlines. They never acknowledged our vulnerability, nor did they apply FCA’s guidance on fair treatment of vulnerable customers. We’ve now escalated the matter to the Financial Ombudsman Service (FOS), and Zopa has been named a co-defendant in Small Claims Court. Zopa’s conduct was not just unethical — it may have breached the FCA’s Principles for Businesses and the Equality Act 2010. If you value empathy, lawful conduct, or basic support when facing hardship — avoid Zopa.

DO NOT USE ZOPA!!!!!!!! git car finance with these guys and it’s been the biggest regret of my life……. I got a car had warranty for 3 months, fast forward the 4th month the cars engine failed on the motor at leaving me with no brakes steering or anything, Being on finance and under 6 months I thought I’d contact these clowns to see if anything can be done…… The sent an “engineer” out from DEKRA yes notice the quote marks…… this “engineer” literally took a few pictures plugged in his scanner then said yeah they will send you a report…….. according to Zopa and DEKRA this was an inspection to find out the fault on car……… I was then sent a report telling me it’s wear and tear……. Being in the mechanic trade the past 30 years I knew this was B.S as the oil was pulled from car and metal was found in the oil filter and oil…….. bearing failure…… I understand bearing failure is a thing BUT when bearings go they take a while to wear not the 3000 miles that I had covered BUT at least up to 10/8k miles you’d see signs something the dealer should’ve seen or the previous owner which is probably why they traded it in, The only forms of help they’ve told me was cancel my finance if so It gives 3 options 1. Pay the 50% of my finance and they will take the car back just under £5000 at the minute 2. They put the car in auction as is and whatever moneys left on my finance I still gotta pay (in this condition with engine gone that will be about £3000 IF LUCKY which I highly doubt 3.i sell the car myself and then pay off whatever’s left on finance Each 3 of these options are absolutely pointless and useless the car is currently in storage so I’m paying that too, Has no road tax no mot as it’s expired so I can’t even park it outside my home, If I go for option one I have to pay the £5000ish but they won’t take the car until I give that payment which is money I don’t have because if I did I’d fix it in that money……. Payment wise all they want is your money non stop regardless if you’re struggling because you can’t even get to work without a car….. and the fact you’ve lost a second income because you can’t get to your second job anymore…… Oh we can give you a reduced payment……and after everything is sorted out you pay the extra monthly to cover what you didn’t pay…… Yeah great why not I’ll just throw money at people while I drive around on the BUS OH YES I nearly forgot the CUSTOMER SERVICE “All calls are recorded for training purposes” I suggest you either listen to them calls or actually get some proper training, Nobody ever knows what’s going on with your case you get told you’d get a call back but get nothing days on end, you gotta keep calling non stop and get put forward to one person then another and another, One of the guys in the customer complaint team I wish I remembered his name I’m Sure it was (Phillip) was like talking to a brick wall I spent 35 mins on the phone to him trying to get him to understand something after repeating myself over and over again and him failing to understand I got so frustrated I had to hang up cos he wasn’t any good for my mental health, I ended up Calling back and speaking to someone about the exact issue I had who was probably the only person in the whole company who understood my problem and helped as much as he could Anyway AVOID THIS COMANY LIKE THE PLAUGE never ever again biggest regret of my life I’m Now paying for a plant pot I can’t drive all while trying to save up some money to fix it, This company needs to be banned and shut down before ruining anyone else’s life

I opened an account with Zopa, used the loan option, credit card and savings. Worst customer experience ever. No understanding of the English language. Best to avoid.
