Incredibly poor customer service Team. It’s taken months for me to transfer a relatively small pension to another provider and I’m still waiting. It took them over a month to inform me they needed my transfer request to come from an email address they had on file. I completed their request and after another few weeks they informed me I needed to fill out a questionnaire. Then after another few weeks I called again to escalate my issue of nothing happening and I was promised a next day call back from agent who was personally managing my issue which obviously did not happen. I called again to make another complaint and was offered a good will gesture and for the transfer to be dealt with asap. A few weeks later again I received an email informing me my address did not match on file (which it 100% does because it’s correct in my online account and when I call you and pass security). Called again to escalate, promised a next day call back again by someone who again was personally managing my issue. No next day call back again…received a call the following day (no VM left as requested), called back to escalate again and was PROMISED yet another call back by 6pm same day, and yet again no call. I’m a very easy going and amenable person but this customer service team is the most time consuming and poor I’ve encountered. I’ll be seeking to take things beyond their complaints team who don’t see things through

Had a call today with the company regarding my pension. There is room for improvement in terms of ensuring consistency with the service. However customer service from Ellis was engaged and took my concerns seriously. There needs to be better clarity on the process of how to opt out of the pension fund and how customers can transfer out. My main concern is the lack of control on how much to invest into each fund as well as options for funds to be invested in. There are clear profiles you can choose for investment but in the wider world of pension schemes available this is hardly adequate or flexible.

I wish I could post a zero or minus number. Absolutely useless company. I left their services a year ago. I have had repeated abusive emails from them and the pensions regulator stating I owe money and will be fined by the pensions regulator. I have made 5 calls and over 3 hours worth of calls on the phone to them in the last 6 months trying to resolve this. each time speaking to another completely useless and in efficient advisor who are incapable of reading the notes from the previous phone conversation. I have had apologies in writing stating their error and that we will no longer receive correspondence and then another letter comes through. AVOID THIS COMPANY> THEY ARE USELESS.
